I love the way it looks on my wall and it is great as a step to a higher placed bed, as well as a nice place to relax on its own. My cats enjoy it! I have 4 cats, 2 of whom prefer high up resting spots. Our heaviest cat is about 13 pounds and he has had no trouble. I have mine in drywall, and I did use my own drywall inserts from the hardware store instead of the ones it came with. Just to be safe—but the ones it came with seemed pretty good honestly. The mats are good, although the sticky part on the bottom isn’t as strong, so I used some command strips Velcro when one kept coming loose. Overall, good value for money, it is the right size for my cats and the space, and functions just how I need it to.
