Update: 2nd review-Aug 2018 After the first and second light each only worked one time, I just gave up. I did not ask for another replacement, I just wrote about my experience. A few weeks later, out of the blue, I received an email from Bylight. The email said the light had been redesigned and asked if I would like to try the new design. I said, "Yes, as long as it will not cost anything more." I really did not expect to actually get one. Low and behold, a few days later, I received a new desk lamp. It is FANTASTIC!! Much easier to turn on and off and to change the intensity/color of the light. I have had it for about 2 weeks now. I have used it for several hours, over several days, turning it on and off several times. IT STILL WORKS!! (They must have fixed whatever problem the previous lamp had, of only turning on once and never again.) I love that you can change the intensity/color of the light. I am getting older and fine work was getting hard to see. With the light on the daylight mode, I can see SOOOOO much better! I LOVE this light. I will update in 6 months to let you know if it continues to work well. The customer service was really exceptional! I've never had a company actually try and fix a problem if I did not absolutely insist rather strongly on it . Bylight, saw a problem, fixed it, and SERVED their CUSTOMERS. I am most impressed. First review=2 stars just because it was really great the ONE TIME IT WORKED. First one turned on one time. I used it for about 2 hours. It was GREAT! The problem came two days later when I tried to turn it on again. It would not work. I wrote to the company. The person that wrote back was very nice and tried to help me. Finally they said if I would send video of me trying to turn it on, with it plugged in, showing that the electrical plug was working and they would replace it. They did replace it. The same thing happened again. Both were great the first time they were turned on, but don't ever turn them off. They may not ever work again.

Works great. Attached easily to desk or window sill. Perfect modern design for my home office! ....until it quit working!!! It worked for 3 months.

I love the features of this lamp. Adjustable color temperature, dimmer, and high brightness. Unfortunately, it only lasts about 6 months and then completely died (rare, random flickering only).

I have tried a few LED desk lamps. This one is by far the brightest, most flexible, and adjustable one. I use it for painting, and model making. I also got a second one to go on a sewing desk. I strongly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great lamp. On a separate note, I had a problem with one of the lamps. I contacted the company. They were very responsive and answered my question and took care of the issue within couple of days. Will buy from this company again.

The fixture fit my purposes and is a very nice fixture for a medium size table or desk. I had a problem with the on/off rotating knob, which malfunctioned after awhile. However, the customer service was excellent and they shipped be a better fixture (with a touch type on/off switch) to replace the malfunctioning fixture, which I received in a few days. The replacement fixture (an E430) is a better alternative and performs well.

While it's nice looking, the insides are not up the to task. I went to touch the lamp and I got a little static shock and the light instantly turned off. No big deal I thought, but then it started strobing and flashing. Turns out that tiny little static blew out the diodes D1 and D3 on the control board meaning it's not able to generate the HV to drive the LEDs. Based on the circuit design it doesn't appear to have any breakers or fusing to prevent the failure or further damage. Furthermore, it doesn't have any grounding to prevent it from happening again. Kind of disappointed, it was a nice looking lamp.

Feels like a great constructed lamp, but mine has one issue. I think only one of the LED strips inside work, because there is another loosely flopping around which does not work. Otherwise, I would give it a higher rating. I should have returned it when I got it, but I was really busy at the time. I would order this again assume the next one would be fine.

Excellent lamp for my sewing machine. I spend hours at a time working on quilts, & the light is not harsh or hard on my eyes like other lamps I have tried. Easy to adjust over my machine.
