Normally, I don't give reviews on food, unless it would be something like the Cadbury eggs that all four bags ordered at different times were broken up. But, this is more on Amazon and not the nuts. Hubby and I love the nuts, I add hazelnuts, walnuts and other and we love to snack on them in place of junk food snacks. I double checked to make sure I had the order right, money is a bit tight now; medical bills. Looked and yep, my order was for two, and the price was under $30 (ordered a couple other items besides the nuts) . When I checked the next day it stated it had been shipped. When I saw instead of a 2 cans it showed 6 cans, I looked at the total and it was now $66. I was going WHAT? ? ? I had put 2 down, and checked before I clicked yes, send in the order the price was under $30. Had me wondering, what was up; son walked in and I mentioned it to him and he said he had seen somewhere that others had complained of the amount had changed, generally higher, order 2 and get 3, 4, or more. Which had me going, maybe some of the orders where when it arrived it was one or two more it wasn't me, but Amazon messing with it. Lets be honest, how many would go and send the extra back, going I didn't order this amount? Depending on what it is, I have just went it was my fault, but now, I know it isn't. How many others have gone, okay, I can keep the extra one because it isn't a whole lot of money and we save me having to order later, or I could use this other as a backup or other reason to not send it back, just let it go. The four that I didn't order? I will take them out of the cans and freeze them, it will keep them fresh until I am ready to use them in another mix of nuts for snacking. We go through nuts fast, healthy snack which we have turned to instead of candy, chips and other snack foods.

Always a decent canister of nuts. I like just keeping them around for a nice little snack. I’ll continue buying these.

Could hardly find brazil, macadamia & hazel nuts for the amount paid for the product. Probably because they are comparatively pricey. But like the taste, which is unique to Planters.
