Versatile and fun. I think my grandson has built all of the items and each one gave him a lot of playtime and learning. Adult help recommended, but super cool.

Fascinating
The experiments look interesting. My grandsons are 11 and very bright but it appears there will be a lot of adult guidance required. I would worry that the kit is too advanced for an 8 year old. It does help that the boxes of small parts are color coded to match the page in the instruction booklet they correspond to.

Incomplete Kit
Kit missing all 4 wheels to the car assembly. Also missing the 2 foam pieces for the beaker. Received 1 extra beaker. Received a salt packet and a packet of copper sulphate that are not supposed to be included with kit. Along with the previous mentioned items also received a fan blade and a packet of plastic o-rings/gaskets that are not supposed to be included with kit.
