This edge banding is almost an exact match for the edges of white MDP board. It's easy to cut and goes on with a standard iron. It did take about 15 seconds with the iron to securely fasten a 15 inch strip. So far, it seems to be holding tight.

Worked perfectly just as instructed....IRON IT ON . I used a small hand held craft iron WONDERFUL!! Be careful not to bend the tape too much .... cracks easily. The paint went on so smoothly too. 2 coats 😊

Easy and quick to apply with a hot iron to activate the adhesive. The banding width was perfect for our 3/4" shelf below the kitchen sink. Gave the shelf a finished look. Before and after photos attached.

This was for a small day fix. I made sure to get the right width for a heavily used kitchen cabinet drawer, the edge of which was having the paint wear from heavy use (it's a pull out garbage/recycling drawer used many times a day). I sanded the remaining paint first (usually not needed but the drawer edge had some uneven wear that would have probably made this edge banding less effective), then got a strip ready and just ironed it on (the glue side melts onto the surface when you apply a hot iron-- i.e., you hold the glue side down to the edge you want to stick it to, then iron the regular side so the glue melts and sticks. Making sure the placement is good is important, but I think if you messed up you could probably scrape or otherwise remove and try again. Then snipping off any extra at the ends, very carefully. Looks great, is easier to clean, and have not had problems though it had been on for at least a month. The one thing I would say is that there really aren't instructions, so I had to guess at iron temperature for instance. Otherwise great.

Impressed with the quality and ease of installation. The edge banding often didn’t even require trimming with a knife—once folded, it cleanly breaks off exactly where you want it. It adheres very well, which was a pleasant surprise, and bonds immediately when ironed. I did go over it a few extra times just to be safe. The fit was also perfect. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

bought this to fix some closet shelves. Easy to use and more than a year later - holding up, still in place. Looks good and works great

would leave zero stars if i could! buyer beware! this is literally just a strip of paper with hot glue on one side. no idea how it got ANY good reviews- absolute TRASH. youd be just as well off gluing poster board to your edges, and there is NO WAY it is "moistureproof" as advertised.

Had a couple of shelves where a fluid spill cause the original trim to peel off. This product was easy to apply and trim. Just used a standard clothes iron to apply it. Looks good and has stayed on securely since I applied it.

As long as I was careful with alignment, this tape fitted exactly my kitchen shelving thickness. I only had to sand a bevel to finish. Glue was good, I just used a cheap iron. Very happy with the result.
