These plates are good size and thick and sturdy. Each one has five compartments so you can put different food separately which is good for parties. Also very convenient for many events in schools. They are made of sugarcane which are recyclable and eco friendly. The price is only £12.99 for 50 pieces which is good value.

I wasn't sure about these tray/plates at first, but they're actually really handy to have!They're a good size, not flimsy, and can even be microwaved. ( if your microwave is large enough)I think they're especially great if you have young children, like myself. It's very easy to put different food/snacks in the little areas, as I know a lot of children have issues about things touching/mixing on their plate. Also great for if you have a party, and want to display nuts/fruit and veg sticks etc. I have even used one as a paint palette for my little girl, it worked out great as one of the little areas had water in for rinsing her brush.The reasons for my 4/5 stars, are because after a while, if you have anything hot/saucy/wet on the plates, then you do get a little residue come through the bottom, so that's just something to be aware of.I also thought the little compartments could be a bit deeper, as you can't fill them too much, or things will spill over.Otherwise, I'm really happy with them. Really good quality and multi-functional, plus they're compostable and better than single use plastic.

I got heavily into BBQ'ing last summer and am looking to host a few food centric gatherings at mine this summer for people to come and try the food fresh from the grill. The thought of all that washing up was a bit daunting though.I wanted some plates that can hold the main attraction as well as some sides without everything coming together so I looked for some compartmental plates and came across these which looked ideal. Being paper plates anyway, they are already quite environmentally friendly, but as an added bonus they are also compostable, so you can pop them straight into the composter when finished along with any food left on them!They are quite deep, so should be perfect for my use scenario (smoked ribs with coleslaw, corn and mac'n'cheese sides) and there's 50 of them in the pack. They stack really well so aren't overly bulky to store either.I haven't used them yet so cant comment on how well they hold up in use, but from what I have seen so far they appear quite sturdy.

The plates are made of good quality material and can comfortably hold various food items and quantities including hot and cold food, liquids and solids. These are a fantastic alternative to the original plastic compartment plates and are fully biodegradable and compostable. It also states that they are microwave and freezer safe.
