Great keyboard
Love this. Got it so I can have a keyboard for my iPad and take easy notes. But also for when I travel I have a way to set the iPad up. I think compared to the more expensive brands this is well worth the price.

It’s the only one to have amazing
Okay this is the perfect vase for my iPad it’s light weight durable, I love the colors choices with the key pad and the trackpad works like a pro.

Good quality
Case seems sturdy enough. Magnetic strip holds the iPad in place. It fits my 12.5 iPad Pro. The back lighting on the keyboard is pretty and you can change the color and intensity of it. I wish the charging cable was longer but that’s okay.

Best iPad Pro case & keyboard
Ever since the introduction of IOS 26, I’ve wanted to use my 13” iPad Pro for more than a new media and entertainment platform. As an entrepreneur, I rarely sit in an office and work, choosing to work in my recliner, or out by the pool as I am now. This case provides the mobility options I wanted, turning my iPad Pro into a fully functional laptop-type on which I can write. As I typically do, I read reviews of similar case/keyboard combinations; after doing so, it was an easy choice for me to chose the Typecase Edge. I’m sitting here with my iPad Pro on my lap, the screen tilts into the perfect position as the sun moves through the sky, the keyboard is solid, and the keys have an excellent fell and responsiviness. As a piano player, all of my music is in an app. When I want to play, the iPad easily comes off allowing me to set it on my piano. This is, by far, the best screen/keyboard I’ve used for my iPad Pro.

A very usable iPad keyboard with some nice features...
I have used an older version of this case for a number of years, and my only complaint about it was the constant need to turn off the touchpad every time it woke up. More on that below. This case/keyboard is solid, and for some that means heavy. The weight helps stabilize the thing with an iPad attached, and the double-hinge design places the iPad weight a bit forward, which also helps stability. You probably won't poke this over backward. I mention that because I've had case/keyboards where the iPad leans back from the bottom and rests on a support that doesn't even come halfway up the iPad's back. And several times I lost control of the iPad and it crashed to the floor. That's why I was looking only at the double-hinge designs like this one. The keys have a nice feel, and the backlighting is fine (just like the older version). There is a forward-delete key above the backspace key, and for me that's a bit of a requirement, too. There are key combinations for many functions, and you get key-combo help on whatever app you're in. And, there are key combos for a selection of common Greek symbols, if you use those much. There is a little key-combo cheat sheet to the left of the trackpad, but I have to admit that it's too small and dim for my eyes. Also, the instruction booklet lists all of the key combos, but the print in the instruction book is too small for me to read unaided. That's common these days. Anyway, bottom line is that I like the keyboard in my required double-hinge configuration, and I'm happy with the purchase. Some people worry about the magnet strength. Make sure your iPad fits; mine's a 12.9 with no other case on its back. I will say that before you close the iPad down on the keyboard, you should push it back to its furthest reach. If you don't, it might knock the iPad loose from the magnetic back. It's not that the mags are weak, but it's the leverage you apply if there isn't sufficient room to close it down. Now let me carp a bit about the touchpad. I know some people live on the touchpad, but I'd prefer that it not be there at all. But every case/keyboard of this type [double-hinged] has a trackpad, and some of them have no way to disable it. Apparently, most people are not interested in disabling the trackpad as a feature, because in all the product descriptions and the glossy advert material it's never mentioned. So, I asked Amazon-world if it was possible. No users responded, but the manufacturer did! Yes, it can be disabled. It's now an fn- function, whereas before it was its own key in the right-option position. The rep even took a reply and responded a second time, so I was happy with that interaction. The trackpad does seem to recede when I'm typing even if I haven't disabled it. The disabling seems to last longer now, too. Note: AMAZON FEEDBACK: The first time I ordered this, the wrong product was sent. I simply returned it, saying it was not what I had ordered. I immediately ordered another, this time it was right. Love it, 5 stars. AMZ issued a refund for the first, but later informed me that they'd reverse the refund because I had not returned the correct item. They provided no means of communication, and the chat bot didn't understand. I gave up, so in effect I bought this item twice just to get one. I wish I knew what to do if Amazon delivers the wrong item. Just returning it doesn't work.

Great Screen Angle
My biggest issue with other brands was that the screen did not tilt enough. This case is not only sleek, but it allows for optimal visualization of the iPad. The case is very secure, and the back light is bright enough to be used in the dark.

Magic Keyboard vs. Edge Keyboard Case (Power Users)
If you’re trying to decide between the Magic Keyboard and this case, you should definitely read this. I have an 12.9-inch iPad Pro M1, and it has become my primary device, even though I also own an iPhone 17 Pro and a 16-inch MacBook Pro. I prefer iPadOS because of the app ecosystem. Even when some apps are just scaled-up iPhone versions, they’re often much more efficient than their clunkier macOS counterparts. I’m what most people would consider a power user. I own a marketing agency, so opening apps quickly, multitasking, and typing efficiently are all priorities. Editing apps on iPadOS have also become incredibly powerful over the last few years. I own both Apple’s Magic Keyboard and the Edge Keyboard Case. My Magic Keyboard has lasted about five years and still works perfectly, but it’s starting to fall apart cosmetically. That isn’t ideal when I’m meeting with clients. After doing a lot of research on the Edge Keyboard Case, I decided to give it a try because it’s almost $250 less expensive than the Magic Keyboard. Unfortunately, my first unit was disappointing. The trackpad was clumsy, frequently registered movements it shouldn’t have, wouldn’t hold a charge, and the trackpad itself didn’t physically click and would occasionally get stuck. I returned it and requested a replacement. The second unit was much better, but the responsiveness still isn’t on the same level as the Magic Keyboard. The trackpad is less precise, and everything just feels a little slower. So who is this keyboard for? If you primarily use your iPad for email, social media, streaming, web browsing, and the occasional document or spreadsheet, I think it’s a great value and absolutely worth considering. However, if you’re a power user who relies on your iPad for work and needs everything to happen quickly and efficiently, this keyboard will slow you down. In fact, I’m typing this review on my old Magic Keyboard that’s literally falling apart because it’s still noticeably faster and more responsive. One area where the Edge Keyboard Case does excel is protection. It’s sturdy, feels durable, and offers good drop protection. The tradeoff is that it adds a significant amount of weight to the iPad. Ironically, while using the Edge Keyboard Case, I found myself reaching for my MacBook more often because I could simply get my work done faster. For me, that’s ultimately why I went back to the Magic Keyboard despite its worn appearance.

Not compatible with iPad Pro 13” M2-2024
Item is not compatible with iPad Pro 13” M2-2024 as advertised. The iPad can’t be installed on it, magnetic is not attaching the iPad. That’s frustrating I had to return it back and I’ll miss the discount in the promotion period. The customer care provided me the correct suitable cover, thanks a lot for them for the support I’ve got.
