I have been using these for years now. Never leaked, i keep them in the freeze between uses & there is no taste or smell from them. They are so convenient, i have used them in my hydration pack, waste belt & also put one in my running shorts pocket, for short warm runs. The fact they roll up when empty is good for longer runs, better than hard bottles.

These are fine. But when paired with a running hydration vest and put in the front pocket, they flop around the moment you take your first sip. They’re strong and sturdy when full, but I took a sip and it the top just flopped around and it was constantly trying to escape the front pocket

I took a bit of a gamble on these straws. I wanted to use them to adapt the HydraPak / Salomon soft flasks I had. To do this I needed to twist the straws through the HydraPak lids. It was a 5 minute job. Top tip - twist, don't pull. The fit is very snug and they don't leak. Once installed I also replaced the bite valves with the HydraPak valves. As others have mentioned, the flow rate of the valves is low (roughly half according to my quick experiment). Luckily the valves are compatible so it wasn't a big issue. Having done all this, they are perfect for what I need. I purchased them so that I won't need to crane my neck to use the flasks in my hydration vest. No noticeable taste after rinsing them through a couple of times.

These are perfect for all who looking at a simple way of making sure you get the liquid you need whilst out running or walking, good service prompt delivery very happy with them

I bought these for use in my running vest and they are ideal. Quite difficult to get rid of the chemical smell/taste but I think that is a common thing. Unfortunately after a few months use I got a tear in one of the bottles so I'm down to having only 1 left. Guess that's just a bit of a hazard with these being the softer material

First the good The bottles are a fraction of the price of other brands, this doesn’t make them cheap as others are just outrageously expensive, I’ll go with “they’re a fair price”. As far as soft bottles go, they work. Can’t see any difference between these and my Salomon ones, same material thickness, same construction method - I.e plastic welded seams. The not so good They stain just as badly as the salomon ones if you put hydration tablets in them, however, to be fair, the instructions do tell you this. The bad The bite valves do not supply water at the same rate as the salomon ones - be prepared to spend longer drinking. The tops leak. No matter how tight you try and screw the tops on, one of them will not seal properly, and this after only 2 weeks use. You don’t actually lose that much liquid but the front of your vest will get wet.

I do not like to use hydration vests (personally) so I have a belt and the 500 fits perfectly in there. This is a plastic product and used regularly so I guess it will start leaking at some point but overall nice product.

Cleans everything nicely. Also great for keeping the bladder open. I use for my kids straws as well.

Love these bottles. They fit perfectly in the front section of my Salomon Adv 8. But the screw lid needs redoing. Sometimes takes a few goes to screw it back on. Almost needs to be pressed down at a certain angle before twisting shut. Wouldn’t recommend it if going through aid stations quickly and efficiently but great for trail running or hiking in general. Only other annoying thing is that the straws go all the way into the bottom so you can’t freeze the bottles overnight unless the lid/straw are twisted onto the bottle already (I like my water/electrolytes super cold)
