The Meta 3 eats batteries and is uncomfortable to wear for an extended time. This item solves both these two big issues. It has a huge 10,000 mAh external battery to power your headset for more than twice the time that comes with Meta’s internal battery and it’s much more comfortable with its foam head strap. This VR headset cost less than half what a comparable headset costs from Meta and the external battery is the largest one currently available. The instructions are not well written coming from Chinese to English but I was able to figure out how to put it all together. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

If you just want an extended battery with minimal additions to your Quest 3 this will do you just fine. The battery weight offsets the headset so it sits a bit more comfortably on your head, and the battery itself adds a couple more hours to a play session while under load. I struggle to give it 5 stars only because of value for money - for $60 there's other options out there that offer just a little bit more (in some cases a lot more). So for that kind of money I'd like to see better adjustment options, more padding, and better straps. But if you just want the default strap style but with a battery, this is one of the better options, and on sale you can get it for $40 so it's well worth it in that context.
