Versatile / Larger Than Typical Mylar Blankets
I'm 6'6" tall and ordered these blankets because they're longer than most other mylar blankets. The 84-inch length will cover me in case I need it. Although these are called 'Emergency Blankets,' we use them for many non-emergency purposes. The Wife and I camp on the beach quite often. These blankets are great for shielding the interior of our vehicle from the Sun. I've used them to line a cooler and extend the time it keeps items cool. These work great as a ground cover under your sleeping pad. They provide a waterproof layer and can reflect heat either toward the user or back toward the ground, depending on which side is up. My neighbor has been using these to line the doghouse floor under a layer of soft bedding. I even used one on a hotel room window where the curtains didn't come together correctly - it served as a blackout curtain. These blankets are very uniform in size and construction. The 15mm thickness is consistent, and none of the blankets had manufacturing flaws. They are individually wrapped in small packets which can be tucked away almost anywhere. These blankets are also invaluable for keeping a victim warm during emergencies. I've even used these to evade infrared cameras when I was in Special Forces. Every emergency kit should contain a few of these. They are on par with duct tape and WD40 in terms of versatility. The compact size makes them ideal for camping.

Standard emergency blanket
I have tried a lot of different brands of emergency blankets. These are pretty standard and will work perfectly for their intended use. They also come in handy for many other uses. Each one of these is individually wrapped in its own ziplock type baggie. Each one has a label inside the baggie. If someone else needs to go into your emergency supplies to find one of these, that label will make it easier. Some emergency blankets have a different color on one side whereas these have just the silver on both sides. These are extremely reflective. If you hold them up to the sunlight you can see through them a little bit if you are looking from the shadow side. But you can't see through them if you are one the side that the sun is reflecting off of.I have used these emergency blankets for all kinds of things. I used them as a curtain when there was no curtain rod. They are so light you can use painters tape to put them up and not harm the paint. Some cats LOVE to play with them. They make a great temporary tarp or rain poncho. These are folded really nicely. They are so small that they can go into any purse, glove box, or desk drawer. I have one in every first aid kit and go bag. These are such a versatile and useful item everyone should have them.

Prepared for emergency
I keep these in the trunk of my car for roadside emergencies or power outages in the winter. These are great at keeping an individual warm. They do start tearing after about 48 hours but these are so affordable it's no problem replacing them. We have had to use these when we have lost power during a snow storm. I was thankful we had them. They are thin, but the silver material holds up better than expected. I recommend these.

Nice item to have for emergencies
I have not used this blanket but I put the box next to my emergency supplies in the garage - water, nutrition bars, and a tool kit. Hopefully we never have to use them, but it it a good item to have just in case of an emergency.

Great size and quality
If you've ever been in a situation where you had to wrap up in a space blanket, you've probably noticed they're usually pretty small. These are bigger to where you can wrap it around more of you and they are a bit heavier I think too.The pack of ten means we can throw several in each car and more into our emergency go kits. Hope we never have to use them, but happy to have them on hand.I also like how they list other uses for them, such as a tarp, water collector, rain shield, etc.Worth the cost for peace of mind should they be needed.

Great stocking stuffers.
I got these for Christmas to put in the stockings. Great idea :)You should definitely keep an emergency blanket in your car, no matter where you live. You just don’t know what the weather will be like when something happens. Of course also good for hiking or whatever.

I hope I never need to use these, but glad to have them.
Fist off, these are super lite and easy to store away for an emergency. Have them in all my vehicles, even for my motorcycle and e-bike. Also keep a couple in my daypack for hikes. Like the fact that they are xl in size.

Good materials, well packaged, larger than others
These are fantastic! They're made of good materials, they're light and easy to carry and work just as advertised. In addition, they're larger and a little thicker than others I've tried. It's great that they suggest other uses for them than just emergencies and if you have patience, you can fold them back up and reuse them later.
