I’ve tried a few different electric blankets before this one and none of them compare to this baby.I didn’t have the highest expectations for material but like the flannel side as much as the Sherpa. Fantastic combination since: other Sherpa or micro-fiber e-blankets can feel too clingy or claustrophobic when you’ve reached optimal toastiness. The flannel side makes the structure more manageable so I don’t feel like I’m fighting the blanket. I’m also not a huge flannel fan since I feel like flannel is a trap for hangnails and fiber pilling, however, that’s not been my experience with this and I love the smooth, clean appearance. I’ve only washed it once so far but it did great and I just lay it over a couple of chairs in the sunniest part of my house to dry.I prefer a large blanket to cocoon with but this one also folds up nicely to wrap around my arms or rest my feet on when I’m at my computer. The heat/time settings have a good range and the cord is a good length while holding shape well enough that it’s easy to plug in to anywhere I wanna chill but doesn’t get tangled in the rest of the blanket. The settings controller is larger than any other electric blanket I’ve had but it stays where you place it instead of getting lost in the blanket and it’s not like it’s heavy. It’s also great unplugged.My new cat buddy also loves this blanket. She’s been super picky about beds but if I’ve left the blanket folded up somewhere, I always find her cuddled up on it. It’s actually great since she has a bit of separation anxiety and would always be in my lap or on my shoulders if I let her but I can’t get anything done when she clings like that. The blanket seems to make her feel a lot more secure when we are separated so I can have a break! And since she has some neurological issues that have prevented her from getting spayed yet, it made her second heat a much calmer experience for both of us (she’s a little over a year old and has only had these 2 so far)! And of course we both cuddle with it together.I don’t think it’s the most lightweight blanket? but it’s certainly not heavy. Like I said, the 2 fabric structure makes it very manageable and I can still cocoon when I’m in the mood. I could go to sleep at night on the floor with just this blanket. I have poor body temperature control from poor circulation and taking fluoxetine but I’ve not really woken up in the full-body sweat I would under my bed’s duvet and it goes all around the house with me. 10/10 💕

I got a king size, which comes with two controllers that warm each side separately, they also have their own plugs so if you dont have a lightbar you'll be tieing up an entire outlet with this blanket.Its a lot of cord, definately some cable management is needed.FunctionalityThe heating of this blanket seems pretty even I havent had any issues with it coming on, even after I washed it.It only takes a minute or two to get toasty, super nice.Even when its not on it keeps my bed nice and warm, but my flannel sheets might help with that.One thing to keep in mind is if its bunched up the bunched or folded parts can get a little more toasty than the rest, but it hasnt been worrying in my 2 ish months of ownership.ControllersThe controllers are easy to use, I havent really figured out how to 'keep on'. The directions are pretty vague. But a couple hours before I fall asleep works fine for me.WashingI have washed the blanket (my cat hurled on it super fun). It was easy to wash. Took forever to dry. I turned it around and put it back in about 4 times at 40 minute intervals at the recommanded temperature.Its definately best if you have a big dryer for the king size for the air flow.Fabric and sizeIts super soft, one smooth soft side and one fluffy sherpa-like soft side. I personally savor the smoother side, just personal preference.I have a king size bed and the blanket covers it fully with no issue. I kind of wish it was a couple inches bigger for more of an overhang but its not a huge problem for me, it might be if I had a partner.The thickness is nice and it has a good weight to it, definately covers the weighted blanket category.I would recommend this product! It's fantastic!

As many others have mentioned, 1. there are issues with the display, 2. it stopped working after just one use, 3. there is no customer service response.1. The display is poorly designed. First it is difficult to know if the product is on or off as the screen goes blank soon after turning it on giving the appearance that it is off. But it not the same as like a computer screen going to sleep. It looks the same whether on or off. This is because even when it is definitely off, the numbers are slightly burned into the screen such that it looks like it might be on. You can see in the picture that the last setting seems to be showing on the screen even though it is off. It never goes away.2. It worked the first day and was very warm within a few minutes of turning it on. But the next day it started working intermittingly then a month later not at all. But during that month it was only used a few times. We started traveling during this time and had some warm days making us wait too long before deciding it really quit working and we should return it. We missed the return window.3. As of posting the review I have only had it for a month and a half. I contacted customer service and got no response at all. So, I decided I should just leave a review and cut my loses. I was willing to try a second one as a replacement but with no response at all, I definitely won't buy this brand again.

This blanket is thick, heavy and warm. I have used the electric twice but find it too warm. The blanket is warm enough on it’s own.

Second purchase and second fail. First time only half the blanket heated up. Second time the timer didn’t work. We’re done!!!!

I love this blanket. I wanted something heavier and this is perfect. I use it on top of a light duvet on a low setting everyday. I got another lighter blanket for my parents and I liked that one too but I would never be able to sleep under it in the summer bc it was too furry. This one is more like a quilt so you can sleep under it easily if you like the feel of a duvet and the other side is more like a blanket so you get both. I have a king size bed but am the only one using it so I got a queen size as I found the king size was too big to carry around which I like to do when it’s cold on the sofa. I also like that the queen size only has one controller which again is easier to move around. I’ve had it for 5 months and the colour is good and no signs of ware.

Product is great but I find the box stays warm at all times even when the blanket is off and that is a little scary as to maybe a fire from the control box.
