5240711 Sunscreen - '18-Current Wrangler JL; '20-24 Gladiator (for Sunrider for Hardtop)

Very easy installation. Some buyers say the screws are too short, they are, but they work when you apply a little pressure while screwing them in. The shade isn't as tight when pulled out as my previous shade was, but it's ok. The bar extends a little far forward in my opinion, again, it's ok. I recommend this item.

Worked fine on my 2023 gladiator. Install was easy just couldnt use washers.

This mounted directly to existing bolt holes in the Jeep. It's really sturdy as it has a bracket that matches that of the Sunrider. It takes 2 seconds to pull it out and hook it to the existing Freedom top brackets above the visors.

Biggest complaint is that even after being around more than a year, the bolts are too short to secure the brackets to the screen using the supplied washer AND lock washer. -1 star for this. The workaround is simple... Just use the lock washer and install according to the rest of the instructions. The overall quality is good and once you have all of the pieces adjusted it centers nicely and easily locks into place. The only caveat here is that you may need to work each hook individually and carefully. Once hooked, it is nice and tight. I replaced a bungee sunscreen with this and I am happier with this than I was with the former. This is because I left the bungee suncreen in full time and always felt like it was in my headspace. With the Bestop suncscreen, it retracts out of the way and there is more of a perception of room. I didn't find any significant increase or decrease between the two, so the main advantage for me was just the headspace. I am happy with it, but I would suggest to Bestop to get that bolt issue corrected or drop the regular washer from the kit. Bestop has too good of a brand to be sullied with bad quality control on bolt length...

Awesome worth the price for looks , convenience and usability. Blocks the sun , convenience of being able to open and close well worth the price if you have a bestow sun rider top

I normally don't write reviews but this one had me so aggravated I had to share my disdain. I like the looks of the screen and look forward to using it with my newly installed Sunrider. However, it took me a couple hours to install it and I'm not inept (replaced a couple breakers in my breaker box immediately prior to this task). The studs that secure the brackets to the ends are too damn short. I spent entirely too long messing with this. I finally abandoned the lock washers because the nuts wouldn't thread on. One I think is on the edge of stripping because on the final tightening, I felt it loosening after initially snugging up. So I stopped. Securing the brackets to the Sunrider, I stripped the last bolt. It was trying to cross thread twice and each time I backed it out and restarted. I thought I had it because it was finally tightening up as it should.....then it just stripped out halfway down. Couldn't get it in, couldn't get it out. Messed with it forever. Finally I grabbed the hammer drill, stuck the hex socket on it, chuck on concrete, and pressed down as hard I could. It finally gave way and hit the bottom. Didn't tighten up, but it's in there and won't spin. I'm going to leave it as there's no reason to ever remove it. I guess that might be more of an issue with the Sunrider itself but dad damn.

I was stoked to see this item listed. Initially seems like a great idea. However, this is the worst possible attempt they could have made. Construction is fine I guess, but feels like a $30 sunshade. Not exactly confident in it's durability. The screws in the shade that have to anchor to the mounting brackets are a millimeter too short. Which was INFURIATING when trying to install. Just trying to get the washers and nuts onto the screws took me like 45 minutes of struggling and cursing Bestop. Literally ruined my afternoon. And then after it was installed, i was super unhappy with it's placement. Not only does it make your opening about 3-4 inches smaller, which was already a minor complaint with the sunrider to begin with, but it's RIGHT in the way of where you would reach up to let the top up or down. I was speechless when I saw the finished product... Needless to say, after a now pointless and infuriating install, this garbage is coming off and going right back to amazon. Bestop should be ashamed. This needs to go back to R&D and have someone with a brain, and maybe an actual Jeep take a look at this. At $50 I could maybe overlook these flaws. But not for $200. Shame on you Bestop.

easiest install ever literally took me 10 minutes no issues at all with washers they are only including lock washers and the nut super super easy and works wonderfully so glad I got this A+++

El paquete llego muy bien empacado. Cosa que me preocupaba por la reseña anterior. Quedo espectacular en mi wrangler 2025 con el bestop.

Was happy to receive my new sunscreen to go with my Bestop Sunrider. Very disappointed in the manner it arrived. Box was fully open and left on my doorstep. Unfortunately it was also bent. Was able to still install and I’m hoping this unfortunate issue won’t make it hard to roll back the sunscreen. Otherwise it exactly what I was looking for. Please see pics :)

Pienso que está mal diseñado, porque en la parte de atrás de la cortina, te entra todo el aire en forma de cascada. Aparte, a las 12:00 hrs te entra todo el sol. También tratar de poner las 4 rondanas de presión en los 4 tornillos, es muy complicado, porque estos, están demasiado cortos.
