Whole Milk Powder

I was pleasantly surprised by how useful this whole milk powder has been. It has a creamy taste and works well for more than just emergency pantry backup. I’ve used it in coffee, oatmeal, baking, and recipes where I didn’t want to open a whole carton of milk, and it mixes pretty well as long as you use warm water and stir it enough. I like that it’s pasture-raised, rBST-free, and doesn’t have a bunch of extra fillers or unnecessary ingredients. The 4 lb bag is a good size and feels like a better value than buying small containers, especially if you use powdered milk often. It’s not exactly the same as fresh milk when drinking it plain, but for cooking, baking, and everyday use, it’s very convenient and tastes better than I expected.

I've had other powdered milks and they have often missed the mark, Nestle especially. Another excellent powdered milk is Horizon's organic whole milk, which seems to be discontinued. This one from Micro tastes wonderful; just like milk, no weird aftertaste. Mixes just fine in warm water. Great bang for your buck, on top of that!

Not crazy about the taste, but I love it for baking and cooking. I keep several pounds on hand because we live out a ways, and I’m not doing a trip to town for milk! It’s good for mixing with other flavors (chocolate milk) A little glumpy, mix with warm water for sure!!

Made home made coffee creamer. Tastes great and mixed smoothly in coffee. Nice.

I don't drink milk, but this doesn't add any funny taste to my food. Its easy to use and no hidden chemicals

The powdered milk works well in each way I've used it including making chai tea, scrambled eggs, and baking. The powder dissolves quickly when I use heated water from my electric kettle. I'm very satisfied with the product because now I always can make milk for any use.
