The fact that there are not normal brick size are a - and need a fair bit of finishing around the edges of the back box,which I had fixed with expanding foam. Very pleased with the fix, look and brightnessThe + side is easily fitted, looks good and they are waterproof

Used on side of garden decking, bit of modification required to fit my location, but not product design.

Easy to install and looks nice as a feature

Look great lighting up steps. Husband is electrician so easy for him. Very reasonably priced too.

I initially fitted 3 of these fittings 5 years ago on my garden steps. Then out of the blue, 1 failed. I bought a replacement and fitted it when it arrived. (I am a qualified electrician). All 3 now ok again. This time, I noticed 2 out, 1 of which was the new 1. So, I bought another 2 replacement fittings. Once again, I now have 3 lights working. Only time will tell how long they will last. I sometimes wonder if would be easier to convert them to a standard lamp type as opposed to the SMT LEDs as these are failing.

As per review dated 06/01/2018. DON'T BUY CAN BURN OUT QUICKLY. Stay away from Strictly Lamps too (Long Life Lamp Company Ltd).. They will not refund faulty items.I purchased 6 (3 packs) of these lights in March 2020, which were fitted by a fully qualified experienced electrician,the same electrician that fitted my previous lights that worked for over 2 years.5 of the 6 didn't work.I contacted Strictly Lamps who asked for details of my electrician.Strictly Lamps contacted my fully qualified electrician and came to the conclusion that they had been fitted incorrectly!!!!!!!!This same electrician who fitted my original lights has now fitted lights obtained from elsewhere these work perfectly. I don't know what electrical qualifications the person who spoke to the electrician has. This is just an excuse to not give a refund.The lights are advertised as ip68, the main reason i bought them. I believe these are incorrectly marketed and i have been misold these lights. The electrician stated they work out at at under £14 a light. Your not going to get decent lights for that.BE CAREFUL.
