Are these one use only?

No, they can be reused many times. In my opinion they are one of the best ways to clean pots and pans, and also can be used on, for example, coffee cups with coffee stains. They don't get rusty like traditional steel wool. They may get a little "unraveled" after several uses, but they are still very effective.

No, not everything in California has this warning. Still has ca proposition 65 warning? i don't see it in the amazon description. would be so helpful if the reason why was posted on the item page! You would only get the warning if it sold to you in California.
