Really like it
One of my favorite bluetooth headphones. They fit comfortably without a big heavy battery attached to the bottom, they don't actually enter the ear (I've had some issues with ear infections and I realized it was due to how inside-earbuds gather skin, gunk, and sometimes, bacteria and it's really hard to clean. With these, it literally eliminates the problem. The sound quality is really really high compared to other ones I've tried. No, they aren't full ear-covering headphones, obviously, but these don't heat up like those do and they don't have that bar that covers your head and can get really gross too, so the benefits outweigh the cons. I use a set of these at home and a set for work. They work beautifully. I don't like being snuck up on at work when I'm focused so these allow me to clearly and easily hear what's behind me. The touch button that you can modify via app to pause the music works, though it took a bit of time to get used to touch rather than a physical button. I can always hear whose walking up behind me. I've tested to see how much sound bleeds out of the headphones and honestly, if you listen to a reasonable (safe) volume, there is very little that other people can hear. I sit right next to someone at a separate cubicle and our dividers don't hit the ceiling so all the sounds can travel over. No one can hear anything. I tested by playing "Never Gonna Give You Up" at a normal listening volume and my coworker didn't even flinch, so I knew for a fact that he couldn't hear it. You can modify the EQ via the app as well so it really helps cover for the fact that these are essentially just normal speakers you're holding very close to your ears instead of being isolated by ear buds. I get pretty good quality music and YT videos are perfectly fine. Gaming also works fine, even allowing the simulated directional audio to work. Never had an issue with the app, connecting them to my phone or home computer, or battery life issues. These last a VERY long time and I love that. Don't need to charge during my lunch or risk the last few hours of work being painfully quiet. Has yet to interrupt my gaming sessions with loud "BATTERY LOW" announcements. If you are a jogger, these hang onto your ears very well (personal experience may vary based on ear shape, of course). The hook around your ear is soft and has enough give to easily wrap around your ear and it doesn't irritate the skin there for me. A+ product. Anker has pretty much taken over my whole life. I have several phone powerbanks from them. My vertical computer mouse for home and work is from them. Now my headphones are from them. Amazing company with trust-worthy products that last a long time. No, I'm not paid nor offered anything for my review. I just really like dependable brands.

Happier than I thought I would be!
These are my first pair of open-ear headphones and it looks like I hit the nail on the head! I am no stranger to Anker and its product quality, so I decided to go with them again on a new product. First of all, even though I selected standard free delivery, they arrived the next day! I will keep them just for that level of customer service! I was a bit skeptical about their comfort at first, but then after wearing them for a few hours, and then falling asleep with them on, I was totally convinced of their comfort and durability. Yes, these are indeed "Ultra-Comfort and light weight". 5 stars there. Performance-wise, they sound very good, but you have to download the app in order to get the best performance out of them. In the app, you can change the sound types or even create your own sound preference with the built-in customizable equalizer. You also need the app to set (or change) the functionality of the touch functions on either earbud. They are plenty loud, but the bass could hit a little harder without losing the clarity. They offer an upgraded pair, Aerofit 2, that I am temped to purchase as well. The Aerofit 2 boasts about having better bass, so it has my attention! 5 stars there too. The app also offers a live language translation function. Free at first, but I'm sure a membership or subscription will be required in the near future. The app also offers audiobooks for those long airport waits as well as some soothing sleep sounds or white background noise to clear your head from a long, hard day at work (or from the kids!). 5 more stars. No connectivity issues yet, except you can't expect to go too far from your phone or source without experiencing some interruption. I went from my kitchen to my patio (straight line of sight) with no issues, but when I went further, about 100 more feet, I could hear the music going in and out. 4 stars (I guess). Overall, I wanted a pair of headphones that were very comfortable (I'm wearing both sides right now) that I could keep on all day that don't stick out from my ears making me look like a Star Trek character. They also had to sound good, allow me to hear my surrounding environment, and be easy to configure and use. These check all of the boxes! As I said, I am very tempted to purchase the next version which costs about twice as much at $80, but if they perform as well as these do WITH better bass, I may just give them a shot!

Great fitting sounds great perfect for work.
These are the perfect work open ear headphones I've used so far. Great sound while still letting sound in if someone needs to talk to you. Let's you able to listen to a book or music and still hear others. Very easy to hook up to you phone or other devices, touch on/off works great. Great fit just sitting one your ears, in ear hurt for me, but these are great I forget they are on. I have used them out side while talking my dog out, still could hear traffic when it went by and her to know where she had gone. Great price and do exactly what you need it to do for the price. If you are looking for deep bass or noise canceling this is not what they are for. Also has a translator function in app and can't wait to try it out some day.

Thumbs up!
I am a big fan of open ear earbuds, for comfort and being able to interact with people. I am willing to accept the compromise on sound quality. That being said, I am very pleasantly surprised with these earbuds. The sound quality is quite close to the Open Fit by Shokz earbuds (which I had and lost) at a fraction of the cost. They are comfortable and battery life is phenomenal. My two very minor quibble is that the case is rather large, as compared to the Open Fits and they only synch to one device at a time. All in all, these are really solid open-ear earbuds at a fantastic price.

Soundcore by Anker V30i Open-Ear Headphones
I LOVE these. I have bought so many pairs of headphones, trying to find the right pair. I have 6 different pairs that I have been swapping between. Over the ear, in ear buds / IEM's (my favorites), and open ear. These are my favorite open ear by far. Let me start by saying that ear buds are my preferred type of headphone, but I also have HORRIBLE (all year) seasonal allergies, so ear buds have started to cause a great deal of agitation inside of my ear canals. I also have stretched ear lobes (9/16), so a lot of headphones just don't sit right depending on what plugs I am wearing and they press into the sides of my head. These headphones solved both of those issues for me. Like others have said, these are so comfortable that you sometimes forget they are even on. The sound quality is good, more than enough in my opinion. I am not an audiophile by any means. I do prefer my IEM's as far as quality of sound goes, and of course open ear headphones won't sound as good as those when they are pressed right up into your ear drums (dramatic effect), but the sound on these is good, and the bass is good enough. I love that I can be jamming out at work and yet still hear someone approach me and not get the bejesus scared out of me. The quality of the actual headphones is good. They don't look or feel cheap, the magnet on the charging case stays closed as well (this is a bigger deal than one would think). My only (very) small issue is the touch controls are super sensitive. BUT thankfully with the app you can go in and shut those bad boys right off and not even have to deal with them. And speaking on that, these have been easy to connect to every bluetooth device I have tried, and the app is easy to install and use, it is super straightforward and you don't have to be tech savvy to figure it out. TLDR; I have allergies and stretched ears, these help alleviate the issues that come with both when wearing headphones. The sound is good, the bass is decent, and the fit is super comfortable. In my opinion, these are definitely worth the purchase. The quality is great, especially for the price point.

Excellent Battery Life, Bass is Just Okay
Update (2/10/2024): I was able to squeeze some more base out of these today by a trick I recalled with the Life A2 NC when a pair of them had the same issue. Here is the process. So after connecting to the Soundcore app and updating the firmware, which I had done before my first review anyway, I reset the earbuds in the case today. There is a small button near the charging port. Hold that in until the light on the case turns red. Then reconnect the buds. Even with that though, and accounting that these are open-ear buds, the bass was just okay. It was certainly a noticeable improvement from before, but overall still muddy and not impressive. The depth of the soundstage is lacking. I listen to everything from hip hop to classical. It's really noticeable in classical music. Everything feels up front. There is no spacing and depth in the audio. An orchestra ought to sound and feel grandiose. On these it just doesn't. But as I said in my original review, the battery life is great, weight is very light, and they do vocals and everything above bass pretty well for the price. Yes the case is simple and can be slippery and fingerprint prone, but I don't care about that much. They do what I need them to do at the price point I wanted. Original (2/6/24): Pros: Lightweight. Long battery life. Excellent clarity with voices on calls or music. No worries about losing eartips or having wax clog the speakers. Nice audible tones for touch actions. Cons: Not much in the way of bass. Flat and somewhay shallow sound profile. Use with Soundcore app helps this a bit, especially with the Volume Enhancer option, but still does not truly add much compared to in-ear buds. Review: I work from home in a call center. I chose these for their light weight and battery life. I don't like being tethered to my desk by a wired headset, and wireless gaming headsets are bulky and expensive. They also don't hold up well over time. I have some excellent Soundcore earbuds thar are of the in-ear variety (Life A2 NC) which do all things very well but just don't have the battery life these do for use at work. So I'm often changing out pairs during a shift. Not good when you're busy with calls. Plus, recently I was sick and my ears were kinda plugged from that, so I decided that my in-ear buds needed a break. I decided on these as a much cheaper alternative to the new Aerofit line Soundcore put out. Being able to hear my surroundings better with these isn't necessarily a plus in a work context, but it's actually a wash anyway as I have my own office at home. These are good earbuds for a commute, for listening to a podcast, or taking calls casually or for work as I do. They handle vocals, highs, and mids well. But bass is lacking and the sound profile is not very rich or deep. So I can't recommend these for music much at all. I kind of expected that going in and, for my use case, it wasn't a deal breaker. Plus these are relatively cheap open-ear buds so use your common sense and don't buy the marketing hype. Good bass from small open-ear buds just isn't going to happen - at least not without paying a lot more. Tip: Don't jam these on your ears. They wear well but leave them just a tad loose at the front. It helps a lot, especially if you wear these for a while daily like I do.

Good sound and very light weight
I bought these and the Soundcore Aerofit2 units. They work very well. Don't expect crazy bass, however they fit well, provide good sound, and so light you forget you have them on. These types of earbuds are better for your ears and safety. The earbuds that go in the ear are causing long term issues with hearing loss and ear infections. Since you can not totally clean them, ENT's are seeing more ear infections and long term health issues. The hole in those earbuds breeds germs and organisms that you can not get out. Open ear earbuds are much better and also safer since you can hear the sounds around you. If you need crazy bass get the larger over the ear headphones that have a "transparency" type of mode so you can hear sounds around you.

Worth every penny
I've used many different brands of earbuds in my life and by far, I'd pick these over and over again. I returned my samsung pro 4 earbuds, not because of the sound quality but they kept falling out of my ear no matter what size ear tips they had, they're not what they use to be. So I looked around and amazon recommend 3 different ones, this pair in the 3. Well out of all 3, these had the best reviews, all pros and no cons to it. And for the price, it was well worth it. So I got them to give it a shot and im glad I got them. Theyre SO comfortable, slim appearance, and barely noticeable, the sound quality is amazing, especially if you're on the phone with someone, it holds a charge very well and connects easy to your phone or any device. I have the galaxy s26 ultra and have had no problem pairing to my phone and using them.

Three days in, I'm ridiculously pleased
Like many other commenters on this and comparable products, the starting point for me purchasing these lies in the fact that traditional earbuds cause me pain. However, in my case these headphones aren't the first pair of open-ears that I've owned, they're the fourth pair. I had not one but two pairs of Avantree Pebbles. The first was a pre-ordered pair that ended up dying after a few months. The second pair was a warranty replacement that died after a few months. To Avantree's credit, they refunded me after the second pair died. Then, I purchased a pair of Truefree 01s. Those I returned after two days because the battery life and phone call quality were terrible. Then I saw that Anker, which made a portable charger that I love, made Soundcore and that Soundcore made these. I scooped them up on a sale and am thrilled to find a number of things that have been wanting in previous headphones generally, including the open-ears I've mentioned. Here's a list: a) Like other open-ear headphones, these don't hurt my ear canals and they allow me to hear background noise while I'm moving around the house or walking/biking to work. b) The volume on these is *loud.* I listen at half volume while biking. I don't understand how some commenters are struggling to hear things with these on - their ears must work differently than mine or they received a fundamentally different product. c) As a non-audiophile, the sound quality on these seems great. Significantly more bass than my Jabra Elite 3s or Avantree Pebbles had. d) The touch controls are really well-designed. They are sensitive enough that I don't feel like I'm having to repeat touches but not so sensitive that I trigger them accidentally. Plus, the touch point is a raised ridge on top of another raised ridge, which makes it easy to feel whether you hit it, and they make a short, simple, non-obtrusive tone to let you know when a touch is registered. Then, the cherry on top is that the branded app you can download allows you to customize what each touch does *for each ear,* so you can really configure things how you want. I've never had that in any pair of headphones. e) As other commenters have noted, the phone call quality is astonishingly good. I have long wanted to find a pair of headphones that I could use while biking home from work, but having tried so many headphones and bluetooth headsets I had accepted that unless I was going to drop a lot more money than I could justify, the best I could get was an acceptable call quality while walking, as long as the wind wasn't too strong. Much to my surprise, I tested these out last night by calling my wife while biking home *and she could hear me the whole time.* Not once did she ask me to repeat myself, even when I was biking on gravel. f) The case is less bulky than other open-ear headphones. It's still bigger than in-ear headphone cases, but this is small enough that I can comfortably keep it in my pocket while I'm wandering around the house. I probably wouldn't want to do that while going about my work day but it also fits in my shoulder bag (and backpack, obviously) no problem. This is noteworthy because with previous open-ears I felt the need to leave the case at home because it was so bulky. The Avantree Pebbles worked well enough by turning them off and pocketing them. The Truefree 01s didn't do well with that at all - they kept turning back on and auto playing in my pocket. I haven't experimented with pocketing these yet because I haven't felt the need, thanks to the relatively slim case. For all these reasons, I am thrilled that I decided to pick these up. Obviously the one question I can't answer this shortly in is how long they will last. Here's hoping they hold up, because I can't imagine finding a better pair of headphones for me, especially such affordable ones!

great customer service - great replacement product
like the way the headset sits on the ear. good price. works well once the phone is connected. However now my big issue - it pairs with two phones but one has to disconnect the headset from one phone before it can be used by the other phone (Bluetooth off or disconnect needed) it is not picking up which phone is active at the time. Update 3/9/24 after leaving my initial review the Anker customer support team contacted me, offering refund or replacement - which was a very pleasant surprise :-). The replacement product AeroFit offers the dual connection setup (for two phones) via the mobile phone app. For privacy reasons I have a work phone, and a private phone and the dual connection mode enable me to use the AeroFit earphones without switching/disconnecting in Bluetooth. Both the V30i and the AeroFit open ear earphones have great sound and battery life, charge fast and are comfortable to wear. For me the dual connection was the critical point and I'm very pleased with the Anker Soundcore team offering me the AeroFit earphones replacement option. Cheers Reinhard
