Worth the Cost
I was looking for a inexpensive back-up storage device (Time-Machine) and this 6T by Seagate works just fine for the amount of money it cost!

Unreliable, corrupted all my RAW pictures
I don't know what else to give this drive if not one start, I would give it zero. It has ONE job: keep our back up files. I purchased it last year (Feb 2025), uploaded all my files, including my raw camera files from my Canon (CR2 format). I put it away and now after a year I took it out to add my 2025 files, ALL the CR2 files I click, get corrupted in front of my eyes. I thought it may be my Mac, so I connected it to my Window laptop, SAME behavior. Means, that it does not fullfill its basic and ONLY job: keep my files. I work in IT and know the value of redundancy so I have other drives with most of the info, but it concerns how unrealiable this drive is. I will try to avoid this brand in the future.

Laptop Wasn’t able to recognize the hard drive as first!
Purchased this Hard drive from Amazon Resale as very good. When I received it, the my laptop nor my PC didn’t recognize it. So I had to download the Western Digital hard drive driver from the website and install it. Once the driver was installed, the pc and the laptop was able to recognize it but now the hard drive wasn’t formatted. I had to download the western digital utilities app which was able to format it. Now the hard drive is working well. If I didn’t have to do these extra steps too make it work, I would’ve give it 5 stars.

Worked as expected
Easily connected and simple to use. Only downside is the everpresent slow nature of the transfer, but that’s an issue of the data being transferred and not the drive.

Great drive....no problems
I am using this for a master backup drive. I've had it for several months without any problems and I am very happy that I got it.

Funciono perfecto para guardar archivos de una windows 10 pc y usarlos en mi mac. El disco fue reconocido sin problemas por los dos sistemas, y la transferencia de datos bastante rápida comparadas con un USB normal.

It’s useless doesn’t last, after a week of work and over 300Gb of videos it start making sounds, and it doesn’t work anymore is not for travel and is not SATA, it’s a lost of money and a non recoverable work
