giving only 4 stars because i haven't really tested its durability mainly because i dont use it a most of the time. But it does fit as its suppose to and appears to protect the shell well

This soft silicone shell protects the body of the head set very well. I got the light gray colored one so that it blends in well with the white Quest 3 body. It has cutout for the cameras and sensors as well as the vent holes. I have not had any problems with overheating and I have played some very long sessions of AW2.

I like the looks and fit of this cover. It mounts behind the side straps, so it keeps in place securely. It is well made and fits the front of the headset perfectly. My only complaint that removes a star is that the cooling vents don't line up perfectly. I do believe it retains some head in the headset and doesn't allow proper venting. I have had 1 heat warning that shut down the headset since I installed this cover, and never before. It did get extremely hot. I can't guarantee the cover is the cause, but I will do some more testing to see. It does what it promises as far as fit and protection.

This silicone cover slips on easily, after popping off the headstrap for a second, and covers the majority of the front of the quest 3.I would say this gives decent protection for scuffs and scratches, but only minimal protection for the case from drops. It really provides no protection at all for the front cameras which is the most likely to be damaged as they protrude from the case. Ridges higher than the front camera lens would benefit this cover greatly and provide some protection for the cameras.The other, and more concerning, problem is that it causes overheating when playing certain games that have a high gpu/cpu demand. If you've ever felt the outside case of the headset when in use, then you know that it gets quite warm. This is heat escaping through the plastic and when you introduce another insulating layer, that heat will take much longer to dissipate.I really don't recommend these silicone covers except for light users who don't run their headset at maximum power.

Slips right on and protects your headset from scratches and bumps. Not bad. it's easy to install and functional. Haven't noticed any additional head retention; so overall it seems fine.Update 1/08/2024. Lowered to 1 star.Causes Quest 3 to overheat. We constantly get a message that the headset is too hot. We took it off and no more messages.

It fit as expected and fit snuggly, its made of a thinner material than I thought but will for sure help protect the front side of my headset. I'm very happy to have this protecting the front side of the headset from scratches and minor bumps!

First off, this cover is very thin. This won't protect from hard bumps, but it will protect from scratches. Problem with it being this thin is that if you take the facial interface off of your Quest 3, this cover flops over and hinders re-installation of your facial interface. I will say, it does perfectly align with the cameras and buttons.Would be a 5 star if it was a bit thicker.
