Not going to lie, this little pen was very scary and super intimidating. I also have needle phobia so I had already anticipated it will be highly painful before even trying it. I did watch quite a few videos and read a few articles before actually doing the process. I wanted to make sure I followed the DOs and DON'Ts of the process to a T and eliminate any skin damage and infections.Although the process was not as painful as I had anticipated, it did sting quite a bit and the pain lingered for a couple of hours. My skin did not go thru the flaking process as mentioned in the videos but I think it's because I only did a short and not too deep type process. As a first time user, I wanted to go easy and ensure I do not cause damage and infections to my skin. I would most likely do the same type process until I'm familiar and comfortable with using it. The pen type is very easy to use and comfortable to handle. The size makes it easier to get in and around corners and areas hard to get to.

I was nervous about doing my first at home micro needling but this kit was absolutely perfect. It came with individually wrapped pen heads (micro, face and body) and very detailed instructions for use. The instructions aligned with what dermatologists suggested for at home usage. I did buy numbing cream separately and I feel like that is a must. I am a few days post and the areas of my skin that I treated are dry and absolutely feel like they’re ready to flake. I am super excited that I went with this microneedling pen and will totally tell my friends that it is worth every Penny.

I ordered this but was super nervous and took a long time to finally try it. I think this is a good beginner friendly kit, it does hurt but it's pretty tolerable. You should do it when you don't have to leave the house for a few days because your skin naturally does react, but I'm optimistic about the results. I recommend watching videos online before actually doing it, it's not as intimidating as it seems once you see some tutorials.

I was disappointed in this order - I read the instructions - it is not for grey hairs- bah humbug. I have been bothered by hairs growing in inappropriate places all my life - I imagined tweezers as part of my beauty procedure ; so you imagine my excitement when I read the ads- I nearly threw my tweezers out- then to read the instructions that it's not for grey hairs. Guess I'll have to keep the tweezers around ...

I have never used one of this microneedling devices at home. I am reading and investigating a lot before trying it on my own to ensure it is done in a proper way.The tool itself seems high quality. Everything comes individually wrapped. USB cable to charge it. I like that is rechargeable so that it is easier to move while doing your face treatment.It comes with instructions, some of them mention to stop using any retinol creams 15 days prior using this device and do not recommend using vitamin C creams or serum a few days after the treatment. Definitely something to plan for and not something you can start using right away if you have a PM routine that includes retinol.It includes 3 different needle types: 12 (acne or stretch marks), 36 (wrinkles) and nano (sensitive skin) depending on the treatment type. There are more according to the manual.
