This is the best frosting! Not thick and sugary. I don't like other frostings, but I love this marshmallow delight! Used to have this as a child. No longer able to purchase in stores.

Love Home Style 7 Minute Frosting it beats up perfectly to frost any cake and the taste is delicious. You can't find this in grocery stores and it's great especially on chocolate devils food cake. Highly recommend.

Taste is well, its PUNGENTLY sweet Vanilla icing! Nothing super exciting here. Mind you, it IS FAT FREE. Calories, are ABSOLUTELY LOWER than "regular" frosting. NOT AT ALL for diabetics however.I WILL still get this! However, unless I'm doing something wrong, the end product has a separation of a sort of gooey slimey consistency under the frothy top layer. TASTE is still fine! Just looks odd, and has a slightly slimy mouth feel.

This stuff is something we haven't had in a while. A fluffy white frosting on a devils food cake is a remembrance from childhood. My grandmother was a no-nonsense cook but she always had something for desert. My wife's grandmother and my grandmother could have been sisters based on the things they made, particularly coffee cake. But they had never met - they lived on opposite ends of the same state.Fluffy frosting was a special event thing; something special for a special occasion. My wife likes to keep it on hand and makes it about once a year. Boy is that a treat!

I have used this icing for years. The stores I shop in —do not carry it any longer. I saw it on Amazon and immediately bought two. This marshmallow frosting on a chocolate cake is delicious.
