I have mine placed on a furniture dolly so that I can turn the tray round to stop the plants in the grow bag leaning towards the light. Although the dolly is much smaller than the tray there is no problem with the tray bending or sagging. As the tray is much deeper than a regular grow bag tray it will take at least 10 litres of water without spilling over the top and so keep the plants happy for a day or two in hot weather. If I cut off the lips will it fit?** A: With the lip off you would be inside the 96cm but over by 5mm on the 50 cm width. There is also two strengthening angles at each end to also remove. **Q: Is the bottom of the tray completely flat?** A: The bottom of the tray is essentially flat but has small longitudinal raised ridges (about 1mm high and 1mm wide, about 25mm apart). These ridges are so small and close together that even small flowerpots stay level when standing in the tray.
