Excellent Product - Great Value - A few tweaks and options could be a market leader
After altering an R and G single sided stand with rotacaster wheels for my ducati to fit in a tight space I thought I would look round for a ready made one to save quite a lot of work and time for my new Daytina 675r with bobbins. The Australian built Dynamoto stand is an excellent option but the price is just not justifiable here in the uk. I also looked at the new 360 degree one from Oxford products which was on the list as a possible well constructed option but came across the Grand Pitstop Option by chance and it looked well constructed and supplied by amazon so if it was rubbish i could send it back. It arrived today and I am super impressed by the build quality ease of putting it together and the finish. Less than half the price of some of the other less well built options I researched. I have to give it 5 stars because for the price point and build I think it deserves it - there are a few tweaks and options that would in my opinion make it a market leader -1. with the current castor set up it works fine on very flat even ground - I think a slight increase in castor size it would be more beneficial for those with rougher concrete floor garages could be an option when purchasing2. There is still slight twist in the uprights and although bolted together with a single m8 bolt each side and sturdy I think there could be a better way of really making this with no twist at all - I assume its bolted rather than one piece for packaging and shipping purposes - still loads better than my R and G elevation stand which has loads of twist due to plastic inserts3. a nice inexpensive touch on some other models is some rubber protectors on the hooks save damaging the paintwork whilst getting it on the stand - I've made my own from heavy duty shrink wrapIn summary for £75 quid a bargain for a sturdy stand and even if you had to buy slightly bigger castors and fit them it would still work out cheaper than some other offerings.

It works.
Easy to use, and it works.I have a 125, so quite lightweight. Not to sure it would be the best for a heavyweight bike.

A little slippery - GS F740 BMW
The media could not be loaded. I was really intrigued with this product as I have a lowered GS, so no centre stand. It was a bit difficult to get the hang of (in terms of how far away it should be) but I got there in the end. Needed to use my muscles to get the bike up. Only issue I found is that it would slip and drop the wheel, so I propped a brick beside my side stand and everything was okay. I think all in all it was good money and was easy to use once I got the feeling for it. The bike was super sturdy too and I wasn't worried about it falling down. The quality was nice on the strap as well.

Works great for chain cleaning
Gotta admit, I was a little skeptical at first and was worried I was gonna be crushed, but it works great!Make sure you get your wheel on fully, and with the side stand down, it might seem off but it does the trick and is a lot easier than a massive wheel holder that takes 10-20 mins to take on and off

Brilliant piece of kit
I have a lowered NC750s and am having major issues with the length of the side stand which is now way too long. 99.9% of the time it's perilously perched at an almost upright position on the side stand (centre stand useless now)and the final straw came at a little village petrol station when a gust of unexpected wind blew her right over and down she went. Despite the fact there are numerous telescopic stands out there, none of them accommodate the stand sensor which is an absolute must for DCT bikes as it wreaks havoc if not working as it should..I purchased this marvelous piece of kit to use primarily as a temporary support when I need her to stay securely vertical for very short while so not only do I have it to do maintainance but also have an extra bit of piece of mind knowing that I haven't got to pick her hefty weight back up off the floor . So far, even though its being used in its alternate capacity and maybe not what it's been designed for ,its an absolute godsend and is very sturdy, solid and secure and small enough to be carried with ease....very impressed

Makes cleaning easy.
I use this wheel stand under the front wheel for cleaning, the bike has a centre stand to lift the back wheel. Makes a big difference to the ease of cleaning the wheel, being able to rotate it effortlessly without unsettling the bike or scrubbing the tyre. The wheel rolls smoothly into the stand as I lift the bike onto the centre-stand, trial and error judgement on how far behind the front wheel to place the stand to get the wheel correctly seated. It is sturdy and the orange colour is good as a reminder that it is there.

Excellent stand BUT...
Once set up correctly this is a stable and effective stand. It's sturdy (and heavy) and packed very well - almost too well (plan 5 minutes to unwrap it from all the plastic). The problem is that the stand wobbled from side to side with my motorcycle at first before I made a few modifications thanks to the suggestion of another review that pointed at how the forward tire holder needs two bolts on each side to be connected. In that person's case, they had to drill those extra holes. Fortunately, mine already had the four holes drilled but one of the holes wasn't quite large enough to fit the bolt, so I had to take a drill to clear out some of the obstruction. It was also necessary to move the front tire holder from the very forward most hold to the 2nd furthest hold so that all four bolts could be inserted. As-is, it comes with only the first set of holes connected with a bolt to the last slot of the L-brackets but needs to be moved up so that both holes can be connected. It's clear that there are some quality control and assembly issues from the manufacturer concerning this second set of holes on the tire holder. But, it's a very easy fix and after the fix the stand is perfect so I'll give it 5 stars.
