FjällrävenUnisex Re-kånken Mini Backpack

I bought this after seeing everyone wear them for the last few years, I wondered what all the fuss was about so read the reviews and also discovered that these bags are very ecofirendly in the sense that they really are built to last. Most brands want their merchandise to have a lifespan that's a lot shorter so that you buy it again when it wears out, but I was so impressed that so much thought went into the ReKanken, you just put it into recycling after it's had its life!I thought this would just be a going out bag but I actually use it for everything, from shopping to dog walking. It does fit a lot inside, I went clothes shopping and fitted a denim skirt, jumper and a top in it so I didn't need to waste a plastic bag when making my purchases! It's also insanely comfortable on your back and you really don't realise you're wearing it.Other good points are that the colour is a very vibrant royal purple and I like that the Fjallraven logo on the ReKanken is subtle and blends in with the main colour.On the bad side, not much to say apart from that its a good idea to put your valuables (phone, purse, etc) into a separate pouch to stop them falling out as your stuff is just in one large compartment. But it's a minor thing.I'm now looking to buy the classic larger version, just need to decide on which colour!

I've hd the green kanken for almost 2 years now and it still looks like it did when I first got it! The material is great although it does bobble slightly- I would not recommend using it in the rain as it might damage the material. For the size of the backpack, the amount of things I can fit in it surprises me- it is very roomy. You could fit a large water bottle, a4 notebooks, pencil case etc inside. Or a medium sized lunchbox with a water bottle if it's being used for a day out. Only 4 stars for value for money as it is expensive and I have cheaper bags that have lasted the same amount of time

Handy small size and excellent quality- my only regret is not getting it sooner!

An excellent mini backpack which can fit a surprising amount into it, but it does become bulkier and uncomfortable if you try to squeeze too much in it. It appeared to be a genuine Re-Kanken according to all the features which I checked against, but when wearing it in the rain the fabric got completely soaked. The contents of my bag weren't wet, though, so it might be sufficiently waterproof.

Great size for little ones and will last for years too come! Colour is gorgeous!

A really good sized backpack, especially for a fairly short woman. It’s big enough to carry food and drink for a day out, along with wallet, phone etc. It was still comfortable to wear at the end of the day.

Do not buy. The colour is nothing like the posted bag!! The bag is bright yellow!!! Not impressed at all.

Excellent Quality

Have owned 3 of these previously and my only gripe was aesthetically. I prefer not have the huge white Fjallraven patch on the back. Well this was just what I was looking for.

Quality is great, size is perfect, and looks amazing.

I don’t recommend this bag because it brings hairs and everything sticks on bag. Don’t know what kind of materials they used to make this bag. Disappointed
