Brilliant space-saver that transforms your setup, but prepare for the weight
After using the NEEWER DS010 for several months to tidy up my studio space, I can confidently say this stand delivers on its promise of consolidating multiple pieces of kit into one mobile workstation, though it comes with some important caveats that potential buyers should understand. The transformation factor This thing genuinely revolutionised my workspace. Before the DS010, I had separate stands cluttering my studio - one for the microphone, another for my camera, a third for lighting, plus a laptop stand taking up desk space. Now it's all mounted on one wheeled unit that I can roll wherever needed. The psychological impact of having a tidy, professional-looking setup shouldn't be underestimated - it actually makes me want to create content more often. The modular design is brilliant. You can use all four boom arms or just one or two, depending on your needs. I typically run with a camera on the overhead arm, microphone on the boom arm, and my laptop on the adjustable plate. The phone/tablet holder gets occasional use for monitoring social media during streams. Build quality and stability The weight everyone mentions in reviews isn't a bug - it's a feature. At nearly 12kg, this stand means business. The metal construction feels genuinely professional, not like the flimsy plastic alternatives you see elsewhere. Once you've got everything positioned and locked down with the hex keys, nothing moves. I've accidentally knocked into it whilst recording and my camera didn't budge. The lockable casters are properly engineered. When locked, the stand stays put. When unlocked, it rolls smoothly even when fully loaded. The wide tripod base provides excellent stability - I've never worried about it tipping over. Against the competition Compared to alternatives like the VIVO All-in-One Studio Stand, the NEEWER offers more mounting points and better build quality for similar money. The VIVO supports larger monitors (up to 32"), but the NEEWER's laptop plate handles most content creation needs perfectly well. Budget alternatives exist, but reviews consistently mention stability issues. This sits in the sweet spot between cheap and cheerful options that'll frustrate you, and professional broadcast equipment that costs thousands. The frustrations Assembly is genuinely tedious. The instructions are adequate but not brilliant, and there are loads of small parts to keep track of. My biggest gripe is that you can't buy different arms separately. I'd love a second ball head mount instead of the V-shaped interface, but NEEWER doesn't sell individual components. It's all or nothing with the included configuration. Real-world performance The 8kg load capacity per arm is genuinely useful - I've mounted a DSLR with a decent lens plus a panel light without issues. The cable management system works well for keeping things tidy, though you'll still need some cable ties for a truly professional look. The height adjustment (up to 150cm) means it works whether you're sitting or standing. I often start seated for detailed work, then raise everything up when I want to present standing - having that flexibility in one unit is genuinely valuable. Bottom line This stand solved a real problem in my studio and continues to earn its keep months later. Yes, it's heavy and yes, assembly is a pain, but once it's set up, it's a proper piece of professional kit that'll serve you for years. The build quality justifies the price, and the space-saving benefits are transformational if you're working in a smaller area. If you're serious about content creation and tired of juggling multiple stands, this is worth the investment. Just make sure you've got the space to store it and the patience for assembly. I genuinely wish NEEWER would sell individual arms - being able to customise the configuration would make this perfect. Still, it's the best all-in-one solution I've found for the money.

Versatile and Easy-to-Use Overhead Mount
I recently integrated the NEEWER ST008 Overhead Camera Desk Mount into my setup, and it's been a fantastic addition. The assembly was straightforward, and the mount feels sturdy and well-constructed. Its adjustable arms and height flexibility have made it ideal for various applications, from top-down photography to live streaming. The clamp secures firmly to the desk, providing stability without taking up excessive space. I've found it particularly useful for capturing overhead shots without the need for bulky tripods. Overall, it's a practical and efficient solution for enhancing my content creation workflow.

Good for a static setup. Usual good quality from NEEWER.
NEEWER are gaining themselves a good reputation in this market sector. I have several of their products including tripods, filters and mounts. They've all been of good quality and so far all of them have lasted well. This desk stand is no different it seems. I think it lends itself better to a static setup, which is fine for studio use or if you're a live streamer. We use some software scanning lots and lots of documents very quickly. The software is intelligent and crops and catalogues the images. It benefits from diffused lighting to make the scans more uniform and this desk stand makes that really easy. Set the main stand up correctly and tighten everything down and you now have yourself a mini studio. The fact that the arms are held securely with hex keys means there is no movement at all. Some desk mounts use friction clamps which can work themselves loose, not with this one. The build quality is impressive and sturdy. It easily held our lighting and mobile scanning device without any vibration or movement. The clamp that attached to the desk itself was rubberised on each face to give a better grip and prevent damage to the desk surface. The inclusion of cable clips was a nice idea because it keeps everything clean and frees your photographic shot was shadows and intrusions into the frame. It's quite customisable too offering a lot of angles and widths for attached devices. Very capable throughout.

Well designed, well made, solid & reliable
I was very pleasantly surprised at both the quality of construction and design: the tubes, hinges/pivots and tighteners are all solid and comfortable to use, and everything stays where it is positioned despite having e.g. the camera and a pan/tilt head at the end of the arm. The handle for the desk clamp tightener has a built-in clutch of sorts, so the handle can be rotated freely and then re-engaged when fixing in a restricted space such as against a wall, or near a desk leg, which makes the difference between frustration and delight. The free arm attachments have rubberised internal faces which ensure both a solid grip and lack of scratching. My one, tiny, regret is that the "resolution" of the internal grooves that help lock the arms into place isn't as fine as I would like. It's not as though it's only limited to very coarse angles, but a little more flexibility in angle would be nice. (ngle increments seem to be 10 degrees... nine steps per quarter circle) That said, anything Neewer want to throw at me for review, I would be delighted to! (I've also bought their GL1 Pro lights, and a phone mount) No stars for "camera quality" or "sound quality" because, duh!, they're not part of the kit!

Lo compré para tener mi setup permanente para grabar reels para rrss. En él tengo la luz, un monitor y la cámara. Así puedo tener todo mi setup listo para simplemente encender y grabar. Genial!

This thing is great. Surprisingly sturdy for a lightweight boom arm kit. The max height of the central column from desktop is 95 cm, but you can use the arms to extend this height more (obviously, be careful with weight if you do). I use it as default with led light, microphone and ipad (with simple holder) on the arms. Works perfectly & worth the price IMHO.

This desk mount rig turned my workspace into something NASA would envy. It’s holding up my mic, lights, monitors, and maybe even my will to live. Setup was easier than convincing yourself you needed all this gear in the first place. It’s sturdy, flexible, and has more adjustment options than a chiropractor. No more balancing lights on a stack of books or trying to tape your mic to the wall; this beast keeps everything organized and professional-looking. Honestly, it’s not just a mount; it’s a lifestyle upgrade. If you want your setup to scream “I mean business,” this is the way to go.

A+ for adjustability. Easy to install. I was expecting more shakiness and wobbling, considering the length of the arms, but this thing is solid as a rock. I have a panel light mounted for WebCam calls, and I can rotate my camera in and out of place depending on usage. Exactly what I was looking for.
