This has been a fun kit for my children and wife. The biggest downside was that the clay is more like a floam texture and makes it difficult to make into a bead form. My kids ended up using the clay as a base and make almost little fairy garden stepping stones. They tried forming beads but it wouldn't allow for keeping a hole in place and would stick to whatever tool it was wrapped around or that would poke into it. You would need to find a way to make the bead onto something that would pull away fairly well once it was dry, but that seems overly complicated for a children's art kit. The rest of the kit was really fun and had a lot of charms and beads to play with. The fact that the clay didn't work well to make beads wasn't too big of a negative for my children. I would just make sure the kids know that there's a good chance that making beads with it would be a bit of a challenge or maybe to just repurpose the clay. Otherwise, this was a great kit that kept everyone busy.
