Cuban coffee in a percolator - perfect!!
Pros: It’s gorgeous! It makes an amazing pot of coffee that’s head and shoulders better than drip. It is super hot coffee so take your time with that first delicious sip. It’s incredibly easy to use. Durable unit that looks amazing on the counter. The scent of percolated coffee is heavenly. Starts right up and moves along in the percolation process without hesitation.Cons: Not really cons per se, but things to note. It is hot. The percolator gets hot. The glass top gets hot. It seems to take longer than a traditional drip style coffee maker but not a whole lot longer. The percolating action creates a wet grounds mess on top of the basket. This could be user error - I may have added too much coffee. I will try a paper filter designed for percolators and change the grind to see if that minimizes the mess. I like my coffee strong so this may somewhat unavoidable but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Your mileage may vary but if coffee sends you to the bathroom, you may experience an acceleration in that process because this is pure unadulterated and strong coffee making its way through your system.I highly recommend this beautiful and hard working percolator. You’ll never go back to a regular coffee maker.

Buyer Beware "Dangerous Product!"
Buyer should beware of cleaning this product. One should take extra caution when cleaning this product. The product has multiple sharp edges on the inside surface which will cut your hand while cleaning the product. Looking inside is very deceiving. Looks harmless but beware! I have cut and gauged a large chunk of skin on my hand while cleaning this product. The large nut on the inside will gauge you skin if you come in contact with the nut. Where the spout connects on the inside will slice you hand like a sharp razor. Since owning this product for a short period of time; I have had on three different occasions been injured by this product. There is no warning on the packing stating to be careful of sharp edges or possibility of being cut. It is defiantly as design flaw. If the company had any kind of quality control, this issue could have been avoided. I would not recommend this product! The product was clean on the inside using a sponge each time and I was still cut (gauged) the skin off my fingers. This is the kind of thing that makes people sue Companys because of inferior products. Stay away from this product if you do not want your hands getting gauged! Dangerous Product!!!!!

3.5 ⭐️
I like this coffee pot a lot- it’s easy to use. It percolates and makes flavorful coffee but even with a coarse ground coffee the grounds still get into the coffee pot and your coffee cup. I’ve used filters but that doesn’t seem to help.

LOVE this percolator!!!
I am a BIG fan of percolators! I was in need of a new one & my 'favorite' one was not available, so I took a chance on this one. I'm SO glad I did! #1 - the 'glass' top really is GLASS! Not plastic like all the others. #2 - It has a 3-prong plug - both to the unit and to the wall. Most others have 2. #3 - It has an on/off switch. Nice feature! #4 - It says 12 cup capacity, so imagine my surprise to find out that it's actually more like a 14-15 cup! (Although you can do just 12!) #5 - The pour spout is practically non-drip! Even my hubby (who ALWAYS manages to drip coffee everywhere when he pours) is amazed. The only "annoying" thing I can say about this percolator is the 'bubbling' noise it makes once it's finished perking. But you get used to it. The finish is very nice! Wipes off easily and fits in nicely with my 'retro' kitchen (translation: rather old-fashioned!) I've had percolators for the last 7 years and this one is by far the best! I bought it on sale but would pay full price to replace it - when I have to! (They just don't make 'em like they used to!) :)

Only the pot is stainless steel
It was advertised as stainless steel pot, but it is ONLY the pot that is stainless. I'm assuming all the other parts, including the coffee grain holder, water pipe and cover are aluminum, something I've been trying to avoid, that besides plastic. It was disappointing to realize not all the parts were stainless. However, I must admit it makes good coffee. We bought the same model which lasted us 4 years. Of course, the light did go out after a year since we wash the inside of the pot with soapy water and rinse. The water does drip down into the socket. Directions are to just rinse the pot and the other attachments without soap and use only hot water? Won't the coffee oils accumulate in the pot? I would pay extra for all the parts to be stainless!

Takes Longer To Perk, Which Is Good
Been drinking percolated coffee for 30+ years and my go to percolators were always the Faberware brand. These units use to be made in the USA, but like all good products, now made CHINA. Cheap components inside now and I got tired of replacing thermostats with another CHINA made thermostat that would fail in short order. Had 4, 8 and 12 cup Faberware percolators, still have my 12 cup as it is only used when company arrives, but recently threw them out due to becoming inoperative or drinking luke warm coffee that was weak.Decided to purchase from another company, even though still made in CHINA, so we went with the Euro Cuisine 4 cup percolator this time around. As I'm writing this, I am drinking my first cup of coffee from this unit and a couple of things I noticed right away was...1. Takes 7 minutes and 30 seconds to brew 4 cups. The old Faberware brand 4 cup version took a mere 4 minutes or 5 if I loaded it with ice and water.2. Longer brew time = much richer coffee taste and darker in color. It's a very good tasting coffee over the Faberware produced percolated coffee IMHO. So, I like it so far and was impressed with its very first cup of coffee it brewed.I'll update this review as the years go by. I'm old school and want items I purchase to last almost a lifetime.
