Very pleased with functionality and modern appearance of this waste bin.Large foot bar lid opener is much easier to use than small pedals, but if you prefer not to use it, the bin stands at a comfortable height to lift the lid manually and it has a handy slow close feature to spare trapping your fingers.Bag securing trim locates well and quickly lifts off for easy cleaning.Would have preferred a sturdier quality, but is acceptable at price. Movement of bin in use will mark emulsioned walls if sited against them.

What a great bin. takes up less floor space than my old bin but taller so no more bending. The foot pedal goes round to sides so you dont have to stand in front to fumble for pedal. It is completely hands free as the lid closes quietly and slowly. No more fishing for the bin liner fallen inside with the ring to hold it. I cant praise this enough. The quality is excellent. Although it came from Germany it was with me within a week, but I would have waited. It looks so smart in my kitchen.

Opened box to find a big chunk of the base broken. Not impressed as this is not cheap

Purchased this bin to replace my curver half moon style bin because the hinge had snapped, the size of bin is quite important due to my limited space.I had an issue at first with the soft close, because the lid wouldn’t go down properly (hence 4 star rating) I had to fiddle with the soft close part, it then seemed ok, although I hope its not like this each bag change, as it is easily moveable. The plastic is quite flexable & nice quality, and looks easy to clean. I purchased the carbon option as it was a bit cheaper, it also makes the bin more interesting (you don’t see the strobing effect like in the photo on the actual bin either) However this bin was double the price of my last one, but amazingly has a 20y guarantee, but what would be nice is one with a removable inner bucket for emptying, & hygienic cleaning,(this doesn’t have this feature)
