I have spent a very long time while researching many different recipe boxes out there. Perhaps this might save time for some of you. The recipe cards and dividers that this recipe box has are much, much nicer than some of the other dark boxes out there. The recipe box is durable, high quality and looks modern (contemporary). The 3 grooves on top of this recipe box (compare to others than have only 1 or none) make it super easy when viewing recipes while cooking for both tall and short people. I also liked that this one offers a clear card protector, which actually fits inside of the grooves, too. The clasp is a nice touch, too - it makes it look luxurious and expensive (premium quality), in my opinion. Really impressed especially with the high quality of this recipe box and company. Looking at the designs of the other dark boxes out there, this box has fewer reviews than others on the market but the design of this one is WAY MORE beautiful. In fact, my girlfriend absolutely LOVED IT!! So glad that I have researched all the other recipe boxes thoroughly and decided to buy this particular one. Will for sure buy again, probably for my mom as a gift .. and would highly recommend this recipe box and company to everyone! 5 stars!!!

It's been a couple of years since I ordered this and I just want to say, not only does the recipe box have a lot of room for recipe cards (which are very sturdy), it is very beautiful on the counter. I love the slats on the top of the box that holds the recipe in place for easy to read. I would recommend.

This recipe box is so charming and not overtly feminine like many others. It’s definitely new and constructed well while the metal finishings give it this vintage feeling of maybe having belonged to a loved one. There are three different sized slats in the top of the box which allow you to use the cover at a slant, use it upright, and the last to use it with just the recipe card. Danielle really thought of everything when creating this box! The cards themselves are really good quality and I was pleasantly surprised that the organization and design of the cards didn’t interfere with how much space was left to actually write ingredients and instructions. The only downside would be that I would have liked to have had the option to purchase it with card dividers, but I found some I liked so it worked out in the end. Thank you!

Box delivered 2 days after I order it by UPS. Sturdy, soft white pine, unfinished, identical to the picture on Amazon. Has lots of cards and 3 slots in lid to hold the card when using. The size was the surprise. I didn’t look into the details, Its bigger than the traditional recipe box. I wanted to order 2 more but they are now unavailable. , regularly $20.00+ but I got this on special for $13.00 and free shipping with Prime. I give this a 5 star rating for the quality and the price.

This box holds 350 recipes! Wow! I will use it for sure. I will need to sand the box some and stain it because it came with some nicks and raw sanded pine I believe. I’m a crafty person and up for staining and lacquering this box to make it personal. The design is nice but am worried about small hinges on bigger lid over time. Again replacing hinges in long run would be an easy fix. The corners are actually sanded so they are not sharp. So, beautiful design and usable. Gave 4 stars because of nicks in the box. I also gave 4 stars instead of 3 because I like the idea I get to sand it, stain it and lacquer it! This box will be $60 to $70 dollars by the time I am finished with it. I think it’s worth it. I would make my own next time or for someone else. I probably wouldn’t recommend or buy this item for anyone though. The recipe cards are very nice. Anyways, I am grateful that this box will be useful. Hope my honesty is met with well intentions.

This little treasure box is amazing. I loved it from the moment I opened the box. It is well crafted, complete with latch, cards, dividers. It is the perfect homemakers/chef/newlyweds addition to their kitchen. In addition to the beautiful cards and inserts the outside is unfinished which enables you to put your own twist on the decor or it. You can paint, wood burn, stencil, decoupage the sky is the limit. This would be an excellent gift for newlyweds with some starter "tried & true" recipes.

The box arrived in perfect condition. It’s bigger than I expected! It is unfinished, so that I can choose what color to paint or stain it. It came with a very generous amount of recipe cards, dividers and 3 recipe card covers to (attempt) to keep the cards free from ingredients. It’s a very sturdy box. I am sure that I’ll be able to pass this and all my recipes on to my children and grandchildren. I highly recommend this company.

The quality of this box isn't very good and is the lid overhangs a bit making the ability to close it difficult. No conversion sheet as advertised and is overpriced for quality. I would pay over 20$ for this product.

They are manly looking. . For my sons for Christmas! ! They keep calling for recipes! ! A perfect gift for them! !
