I used this hair dye to go lighter at home, and I’m really happy with the results! It lifted my hair several shades and gave a beautiful, bright blonde color. Okay, it's important to have realistic expectations when using this! I started from a medium dark brown that had been previously coloroopsed from a wella black. I knew I wouldn't get platinum, but I wanted to see if this was a healthier alternative to bleach. And it absolutely is! I cannot express enough how AMAZING this product is for a color lift that doesn't fry your hair to bits. I did of course have to cut about an inch off the ends, but it still saved me sooo much more damage if I had bleached. Now it did leave me very orange and golden with white roots because I have natural blonde that was grown out a bit. You want to make sure you also buy a toner! I wanted a golden beachy 90s blonde so beige toner + purple shampoo with this hilift will leave you with a really lovely mix of platinum and golden fairytale blonde. I would recommend this over bleach *if* you've stripped any other colors out first or are starting with natural hair!

It brightened my hair a lot. But it left it like 5 different odd colors like pink, yellow, orange, ect. I had to do this one night. Then tone it the next morning with some L'Oreal Silver blonde. It's perfect for lightening hair. But you will need another step to tone it. Keep that in mind.

I had previously used a color remover to remove a rose quartz toner that was too dark for my skin tone. It removed the color very well. But I still wanted my hair to be a little lighter, so I purchased the High Lift Platinum Blonde. I’m naturally a level 7.5 blonde, and that was my current starting point after the color removal. So I followed the instructions, but sa how extremely light the color was processing so I rinsed it a few minutes early. Maybe I should have left it on for much longer, I don’t know, because it turned my hair super yellow. And super light. White roots. Looks translucent. The next day I tried a Wella Level 10 Ash toner with 10 volume developer. It took a little of the yellow out, but not much. I guess I’ll have to keep using purple shampoo and hope it deposits enough purple to cancel out some of the yellow. I will never try the hi lift color again. Super cute color, charming

Este tinte me sorprendió bastante para ser de caja. Lo primero que noté es que viene con un tratamiento de queratina que ayuda a proteger el cabello durante el proceso, y realmente se siente la diferencia: el pelo queda más suave y con brillo después de usarlo.  El color queda muy bonito, intenso y bastante fiel a lo que promete en la caja. Además, cubre bien las canas en una sola aplicación, lo cual es un punto súper positivo.  Otro detalle que me gustó es que no deja el cabello tan maltratado como otros tintes, gracias a su tecnología con queratina que ayuda a reducir el quiebre.

I have been buying this for a long time and have been happy with it. But this time the main solution seemed watered down, really thin. I always mix just a little at a time for touch ups. So I would normally think I didn't mix it evenly, and that may be why it didn't cover it right. But the solution seemed way to thin I hope they fix this problem.
