The packaging for this was HORRIBLE. It was some plastic just placed around the jewelry stand. The base of this stand is pure ceramic and it was completely chipped and broken. I didn't have time to send it back (nor did I want to take the chance of receiving another broken jewelry stand) so I had to go to the hardware store and buy materials to fix it and repaint the base so that it all looked aesthetically pleasing.
