Lancaster Sun Control Eye Contour Cream Anti-Wrinkles and Dark Spots SPF50, 15 ml

I have sensitive eyes and was looking for a sun cream that wouldn't leach into my eyes,however it does just that and makes them water and sting,it was no different from an ordinary suncream in my opinion

Though this product is specifically for eyes, it actually seeped into my eyes and made my eyes water / sting throughout the day.

This comes in an hygienic pump dispenser, making it easy to use. But I can only agree with some other reviewers here, in that Lancaster describe this as a tearless formula and advice liberal application of this greasy SPF 50 eye product that just bleeds into the eyes no matter how careful you are with application, leading to stinging, red, watering eyes, ouch. The heat of the sun also causes this to melt into your eyes. This is described as fragrance free, but it contains a number of fragrant ingredients and ingredients known to cause sensitization and irritation, including angelica and daisy flower extract, alcohol, bitter orange, black pepper extract and lavender oil. Contrary to popular believe lavender is not good for the skin, even in small amounts, this is because it contains linalool and linalyl acetate, which are not good for the skin. And bitter orange oil can photosensitize the skin, which is the last thing you want from a sun protection product. Not at all recommended.

My eyes and the skin around them are very sensitive. I tried it twice. The first time I put it near my eyeballs and the some got in and stung very much. It also stung the skin around them. The second day I tried it further out, just where you would get crows feet. It still managed to make my skin red and raw.I am sure this would be fine for non-sensitive skin types, but if you are generally very sensitive, I definitely don't recommend this.

Cream went on smoothly and did not irritate my eyes. Would buy it again.
