My little cousin loved it, and it's so big and soft.

To be honest, I balked a bit when I unboxed my PomPomPurin plushie... "THIS costs $50?!" It's an extremely basic stuffed animal (though admittedly huge) -- not detailed, with a simple design. However, it is well made for what it is, with the exception of the hat, which is only tacked down in 4 places instead of stitched down all the way around. I would also have preferred him without an embroidered asterisk on his bottom, but Sanrio's gonna Sanrio, I guess.BUT. Despite those minor gripes... I just *can't* be unhappy with this thing, in the end. It's too darn cute!! Visually, it doesn't exactly appear to be bursting with stuffing, but the stuffing it does have is extremely squishy and soft -- it's actually a great pillow, LOL. My whole family loves this adorable doggie character, and this particular stuffie is great addition to all our collective PomPoms. Just looking at him makes me smile! Still, personally I don't think I would have paid $50 for this guy, as adorable and cheerful as he is... I took off a star because I think it's overpriced. But it would undoubtedly bring a lot of joy to anyone who loves Sanrio or huge, huggable plushies.

I struggle to give this product anything higher than a 4 because there is mislabeling of inventory. When I received my item, the bag appeared to have been accidentally cut, but at the same time, the bag was also big enough for the plush itself, so I am unsure if my experience was just unique (other people have stated their plush they ordered was compressed and small….)BESIDES THESE TWO ITEMS: The plush itself is sized as advertised AND is great for hugging. It stands up by itself and is great for kids or if you are on the spectrum and need something to hold for long periods of time. In the end, my personal reason for choosing “Happy” over the “Fun” model is because of the odd placement of the hands, but I will admit, the “Fun” face is much much better and brings a smile to my face anytime I see it. It’s so dumb and adorable! Unsure if picture quality will be there since pictures are compressed once you upload them BUT – the label does show “Happy” (if you can see it) and that’s how I received the item.
