Very Easy Great Price
I guess they listened to the complaints about the packaging mine came very well packed both spark plugs were in a perfect fitted zip bag also gapped perfect. The plugs were only 3 years old on my LP gas 22kw generator the manual calls for replacement at 4 years they need to be changed. it took me about 30 minutes to do the whole process. The spark plug in the back of machine is difficult to reach I have a flex socket wrench which helped a lot. I used a high quality Amsoil oil made for Briggs and Stratton engines. This is the 3rd oil change on the generator and the oil comes out a little milk color like it has been mixed with water. The generator is on a concrete pad and there is gutters over it so it does not get anything other than rain on it. anyone got any ideas as to why? GREAT PRODUCT GRAT PRICE, my guy charged me 275$ to come out and do the first oil change. Takes 1.9 quarts of oil, so if you have 2 quarts and use all but 3.2 ounces you did it right!!! UPDATE I just got a check Battery Code so while I had the cover opened I decided to change the oil and filter based on the milky oil as stated above.. the High quality oil came out with almost no water in it at all. So change your oil every couple a months to get the water out THEN you can consider following the once a year oil change.

Fits 26kw generac as well!
I received a part number from my electrician in order to purchase the maintenance kit (0J93230SSM) for my Generac 26kw whole home standby generator. After seeing the $80 to $150 price tags and realizing it's only an oil filter, two spark plugs, and an air filter, I started doing my own parts list to source separately. I came across this kit for (at the time of this review) $27. I gave it a shot based on images of the parts with numbers shown, and low and behold, it worked perfectly. It's cheaper than I could have individually sourced these parts on my own. Picked up the SAE 5W-30 full synthetic oil at the local auto parts store. I bought two kits in case it fit, so now for $90 (2 kits and a 5qt jug of oil) I can service my generator twice!

Easy Peasey! Some tips for first timers
I decided to do this myself for the first time. I have a Generac Guardian Series 22KW 999 cc Engine, Model No. GOO70422. So 7042 in the list below. If the first 4 numbers of your Generator's model number begins with: 6055, 6098, 6103, 6244, 6250, 6258, 6551, 6279, 7034,7035,7036, 7037, 7038, 7039, 7040, 7041, 7042, 7043, 7045, 7048, 7049, 7077, 7078, 7141, 7142, 7145, 7146, 7163, 7173, 7174, 7175, 7176, 7177, 7178, 7189, 7209, 7210, 7218, 7219, 7291 then this is the right kit for you! This kit consists of: 1 Oil Filter part no.: 070185E 1 Air Filter part no.: OJ8478 2 Spark Plugs part no.: RC12YC (which is the Champion equivalent of Generac part no.: OGO767A) I recommend doing the Spark Plugs and Air Filter before you do the oil change since the motor doesnโt need to be hot for that part of the job and is more comfortable to work on cool. Especially in the Summer! Spark Plugs: The Champion RC12YC spark plugs come pre-gapped from the factory at .38 so youโll need to widen the gap slightly to get it to .40 as recommended by Generac. If you are using a ramp style plug gap gauge you will want the center of the electrode to be centered on the .40 line on the gauge. Youโll need a 5/8 Spark Plug socket and a Torque Wrench. Plugs should be torqued to 25 Newton Meters. Note: I needed only the wrench and socket to remove the plugs. I did not need any flexible extensions as some did. Flexible Extensions can cause the Torque wrench to get inaccurate readings so I would not recommend using one. Air Filter: The Air Filter housing has one clip that flips up from underneath the front lip. There are two tabs on the backside that stick through two square shaped openings on the back and youโll need to pull backwards on the housing until they pop through the square shaped openings, thus releasing the housing. The rubber hose simply slips off the hard plastic connector it is connected to. Oil Change: Run the motor (push the โmanualโ button) for about 5 minutes or so until warm and then push โStopโ to shut it down. Unscrew the cap from the flexible drain tube, and drain the oil into a container that you can later take to the auto parts store for recycling. I used a disposable Tupperware container and then transferred the dirty oil to an empty Orange Juice bottle with a screw cap. I put the old oil Filter in a ziplock baggie. Next, replace the Oil Filter. This is the messiest part of the job. I highly recommend unscrewing it by hand with several layers of paper towels under the filter and surrounding the entire filter itself as you unscrew it (lefty loosey). Put some clean oil on the rubber gasket of the new one and hand tighten until gasket touches and then tighten an additional 3/4 turn. Add 1.9 quarts of oil. Note: .9 quarts will leave approximately 3.2 ounces of oil in the bottle (Mobil One Oil has ounce markings right on the bottle). The oil dipstick has 2 holes in it. The oil level should be just above the upper hole in the dipstick (the oil is difficult to see but If you hold the dipstick at a slight angle to the light itโs easier). When full, replace the drain hose cap and put it back in the holder. Manually start the Generator and check for leaks. Lastly put the Generator back into โAutoโ mode et Voila! Youโre done for another 2 years! Note: You really only HAVE to change the Plugs and Air Filter every 4 years (they are schedule B items) but itโs so cheap and easy to do I do it every two years along with the other Schedule A items just for the sake of overkill. I enjoy overkill in case you havenโt noticed. ๐โ๏ธ This job was MUCH easier than I expected and in my case it saved me $350.00 (I live in California) and the hassle of having to be home to meet a Technician. Take your time and enjoy the process. Thereโs no better feeling than doing something for yourself and itโs nice to save a few bucks too! Good luck! ๐

Everything Needed for Annual Maintenance
Not exactly everything. I needed two quarts of generator oil but itโs less expensive separately than with a maintenance kit. Top quality OEM components.

Is it OEM or not
oil filter says Genuine Generac, but the Air Filter says nothing , no writing stampings nothing. Kind of makes me wonder.

Perfect Fit...Exactly What You Need for Annual GENERAC Maintenance
Perfect maintenance package for my GENERAC whole-house generator...all the items necessary were included and fit perfectly. With so many free YouTube videos online that walk you step by step through the maintenance, I don't know why everyone wouldn't buy this set and save a ton of money. I did buy the oil and a new battery locally as I did a major maintenance job, not just the annual maintenance. I will purchase this package yearly.

Most of it is easy for anybody
I am a 78 year old widow. I was able to change oil and air filter with no problem. However I had never changed a spark plug so my handyman had to do that for me

This maint. kit was correct for the 20kw generator. Kit included: Air filter # 0J8478 Oil filter # 070185E Spark plugs - Champion RC12YC Thank you Amazon. If any of you generac owners have ever had warranty issues or needed to contact generac customer service for these parts or anything else, you already know it is like pulling teeth, not one but many teeth!
