Nutrition is such a hot topic these days, possibly more than ever with the rise of YouTube videos. Each of us needs to make our own decisions about what we think is healthy for ourselves and our kids so, for my review, I will just point out a couple of things.Although these shakes are marketed mainly for kids, there are many adults who eat plant-based who might want to use these as a meal replacement or a supplement. I will admit I prefer whey protein, but I also use pea protein in my smoothies, occasionally. The one that I use does not have any particular taste to it but I can’t say the same for this shake. The strawberry flavor was fairly pleasant upon first sip but there is definitely an aftertaste to these. It’s something to keep in mind for picky kids… or adults. ;) I was also a little dismayed that brown rice syrup was the second ingredient. While the grams of “added “sugar are not overly high, between the brown rice syrup and the agave, it’s something to keep an eye on. I also think the 8 grams of protein is a low for this number of calories but the 10 g of fat appears to be from seed oils and MCT, whose health benefits are being studied right now. Personally, that doesn’t bother me. There are also a lot of added vitamins so it could be a good way to get those inside your kids.I believe this shake is a good effort by Kate Farms at an organic protein option. The pea protein may be an acquired taste.

My child personally did not like these since he is extremely picky. I tried numerous protein/supplemental shakes. I did like this one more than others due to not having a coding on my tongue after or a very strong aftertaste that many protein drinks/supplemental drinks have. It was very light on the tongue getting the nice strawberry flavor notes in there for a plant based Supplement drink. I would personally use it for myself along with their other flavors in their line

I purchased this for my 4 year old grandson who is a very picky eater. He loves it so I will continue to purchase!

Product is too expensive & taste is bad.
