Darn fine pellets.
Finally used these. I ordered them when I had my baby Traeger, but used them on a Yoder 1500. They cooked fantastically. Great smoke. Good flavor, not overwhelming. Did two briskets, two pork butts, and a couple racks of ribs. Everything was great.

Best flavor of any pellets I’ve used!
Literally so good! They’re a bit on the expensive side, but you can find bags for cheaper if you know where to look. I saw them selling for like $8/20lbs at some local stores

Nice flavor
Been looking for a pellet that gives a good flavor of charcoal taste. These are really good and worth the purchase. I love The hickory blend, it blends well with whatever you are cooking.

You want that charcoal flavor on your pellet grill? You got it!
I bought these because my wife was complaining about missing the flavor you get from a charcoal grill. So I tried a 20lb back of the charcoal/hickory blend and it really did give that distinctive charcoal flavor to the burgers and dogs. Seems to burn hotter too, so watch your temps. I'll be keeping a bag of these at all times. I'm not sure how well these will do for smoking though. That flavor might be a bit strong for long smokes.

Finally!
These Lumber Jack pellets were what I have been looking for. I have tried MANY brands of pellets and was convinced I had to settle for the lack of smoke flavor. I was wrong! These pellets are a game changer. Huge difference in actual smoke produced and flavor.

No smoke, no flavor, BOO!
I purchased this bag ahead of Thanksgiving to smoke our turkey on my Pitts and Spits pellet smoker. I prepped and cleaned my smoker before the big cook.6 hours on the smoker at 300 degrees and narley a wif of smoke. While the Turkey came out looking great, I would characterize it as being "smoked" esp considering it did not even have a Mesquite flavor, which makes sense since these pellets didn't produce much smoke.Very disappointed in Lumberjack pellets especially after reading all of the good reviews they get.

Impressed
Tried several charcoal infused pellet brands and these are the best so far, a bit pricey but good enough for me to buy more. Not as much ash as other brands and the smoke imparts a nice mild charcoal flavor to the meat.

Could taste more like charcoal grill
Was hoping for much more of a charcoal flavor like if you were doing a steak with Kingsford charcoal’s since I have a wood pellet grill I have been missing the flavor of a true charcoal flavor was hoping these pellets would have more of a charcoal taste unfortunately they don’t they burn fine there’s nothing really wrong with them I was just hoping for more of a char flavor
