A nice little pocket microscope kit. This contains the pocket microscope along with 5 different slides with specimens and a little bag. Decent enough quality, but probably would need to be careful if carrying it around, found the focusing a bit tricky but eventually got it. Fun for the kids or family to experiment with.

I've always loved science and nature. Always fascinating to see things under a microscope too. This is a great gadget, and a great way to get people of all ages interested in the world just outside your front door. Fits in the hand nicely, and is good quality too. Recommended.

Just one AA battery and it was in use right away. Rock collection and sea shells were all checked. The 5 sample slides were also checked. This was a choice to help open up the world and what is all around us.
