I'm not a light person (318lbs at the time of use), so I was a little nervous, but by the end of the weekend I was confident. I paired mine with the Foxelli Hammock Straps XL, I think I used the carabiners that came with those but I'm not quite sure (they are all in the same bag together).I was very comfy, the hammock is nice and big; the size does make it a little hard to get out of but I managed (not gracefully but I managed). The ropes that come with this are very long ( I used a tree that I could not even get my arms around and I'm 5'2" there was still plenty of rope left over so I did not have to use the other straps I bought.
