Where have you been all my life?
Initially I was disappointed as the badge maker kit arrived missing a part. However, this was swiftly rectified and I’ve been flat out making badges. I may be 31 years old but this has unlocked the excitable child in me!I got the 25mm one as I enjoy the “cuteness” of the smaller badges. Easy to use once you watch the online videos.

Nice machine worth the money, but couldn't make 100 badges 89 instead.
Easy to use, quick and simple. It should have come with enough components to make 100 badges but only had enough backs pins for 89 and plastic covers for 91. So I'm short badges for my event this weekend.Other then that well worth it. Nice looking badges.

Good and reliable
So far I have made 42 badges and not 1 went wrong. First time using any badge maker so I can't compare it to others. I will definitely be buying the other size moulds available when I have saved enough. Although the instructions weren't the best the you tube videos are extremely clear on how to use the product.

Very effective - but slightly misleading
First off, the machine definitely works. The badges are professional and easy to make (once you've decoded the instructions). It's small, and not ridiculously heavy, so it's quite portable. It's also quite satisfying - if I had the money to justify wasting the components, I'd spend all day making badges just for that clunk of the punch into the die.HOWEVER - the image is misleading. This product (or at least what I recieved) does not come with badge backs (the white plastic components you put the pin through, which you can see at the top right of the first image). Whilst this doesn't really detract much - it's possible to make an "open back" badge, and they have a whole video for it on their YouTube channel - it is a little disappointing, especially considering they're hard to come by elsewhere.Still, probably the best badge machine out there. Unless badge backs are a game changer for you, I'd definitely recommend the Micro.

Hit or Miss with no consistent good results.
This is a neat little machine and the die casts appear to be of a good quality. Unfortunately, the results are inconsistent and creating the perfect badge is kind of hit or miss (mainly miss). There are two steps in the process. The first step uses one die press to form the badge graphic and a plastic film around the button badge base part - that part is straight forward. The main problem occurs in stage two of the badge making process (using the second die cast) where the retaining ring is supposed to be pressed into the back of the badge to hold it all together. More often than not, this second stage of the process either damages the protective plastic film (which ends up peeling off) or the retaining ring is not pushed into place properly.

Good - once you’ve cracked it!
Once you have worked out how to use it, this is a great machineThe main issue is that you can easily put the back of the badge on the wrong way round. There is a little lip that needs to face outwards - once you’ve cracked that bit, the badges are consistently good and look really professional. Cutter is also a great tool.It does seem a bit pricey as it’s quite a small machine, but does the job well after your first few attempts!
