I honestly thought I'd never find a German-made item like this again. This Feuerhand lantern arrived in perfect condition. It's beautiful, romantic, sturdy, and most importantly, authentically German. I'm so enamored, I bought two more in different colors. The quality is undeniable – you can feel the difference. This isn't just a lantern; it's a testament to German craftsmanship. The SUPRAX globe is incredibly robust, the burner works flawlessly, and the tank seal is impeccable. Plus, knowing it's been made in Germany since the 1930s adds a certain charm. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality, and romantic lantern, look no further. This is it. I wanted another cold blast lantern to have during power failures. This lantern has become my favorite cold blast lantern. It's smaller than a Dietz Little Wizard. The workmanship is better than other cold blast lanterns I've used. The air tubes have eye holes attached for the handle rather than holes in the air tubes that the handle fits into.

But I doubt it. I ended up buying two of the “sparking iron” version. Industrial Revolution Chic. Properly made of the correct materials in a country (Germany) and by workers where there’s a high cost of living. So they’re expensive. They work perfectly. Every information thing provided by the manufacturer says outside use only but every user burns it carefully inside anyway with no problems I’ve heard of…using the proper fuel.
