I thought I would have to return this item because it definitely could not be assembled based on the instruction sheet. After some digging I found that I might have to lean on the basket, while it is on its side, to flex the metal support frames so they fit onto the top. That worked, and I'm happy with how it looks and functions. Fruits and veggies on the top, breads on the bottom. Saves space on my counter and looks nice.

Directions are a series of 4 pictures. No word directions. I usually prefer the visuals but it took an hour to decipher the vague visual directions. Finally got it together and it stands well.
