I have been looking for a lighting solution to help highlight my collectibles as a simple ceiling light didn't provide enough illumination. I was intimidated by track lighting, but this unit had such good reviews I decided to take a chance. My husband and I installed it ourselves, and while we had some issues, it turned out beautiful.Our first problem was adding the lights. The track itself went up without any problems, but attaching the lights was much harder than it should be - and the directions were not helpful here. The lights have to be pushed up, in, and and twisted to click into the track. This only works ONE way, but you can insert them wrong without knowing. We added two of the three incorrectly and at first thought we had a bad fixture because 2 lights wouldn't come on. I tried changing the bulbs in all three. Thankfully, one light did work with every bulb so we kept trying. If you put them in incorrectly, they are also very difficult to remove again.Our second problem was that the hole from the previous fixture was big and the new square box this comes with didn't cover it (you can see this in the pictures). I was able to use a small patch kit from Home Depot to fill it in and it looks much better, but now the ceiling really needs to be painted. I also ended up ordering an extra light because 3 wasn't enough.The individual lights look great, but are a bit of a pain to get the bulb into. The bulb inserts easily enough, but hangs out until you insert a metal ring (see pics) to hold it in place. The directions have NO images, so this wasn't clear at all. Once I knew how it needed to look, they were fine. However, this makes changing the bulbs in the future a hassle as I am going to need a ladder to do so.The instructions the fixture and bulbs come with need to be improved by adding some images, and I wish the hole cover box was bigger, but overall fixture is great and just what I wanted.

Track is very easy to set up and the LED bulbs are MUCH more brighter than regular warm or 50 watt Halogen bulbs..so much so that i had to use a dimmer! VERY HAPPY with purchase....i just ordered more bulbs and 2 more cams to replace the rest of my old cams!! 5 STAR A-A-A RATING!Also i solved the dimmer problem! I have 7 NFL jerseys that i am pin spotting right now...all you have to do to dim the bulb is just cover the 5 led lights and leave the middle light open! Walla! You get a tight pin spot that does not bleed beyond a 2 ft radius..perfect for showing off objects with no light bleed! Because the led's are cool you can modify them any way you want. The bulbs are VERY VERY bright! I have a home theater and can't have any additional light interfering with my projection screen. The simple black tape did the trick! Remember that the light coming from led right in the middle of the 6 led array bulb is enough for most people! That's how bright these are.

It's not an plug and play kind of light and is a bit of a pain to wire up and install. The light temp and brightness is great but I'm I just got them in and am already noticing a flicker (direct wired/no dimmer), which is not a good sign. We'll se how it goes. It projects a nice light but the quality seems to be lacking.

I did my homework before purchasing this fixture. For a track light, it works very well. Solid bright LED lights.One Recommendation: I'd definitely buy a 4th light for the track, 3 works great, but a 4th never hurts and I wished I had another when I saw how well it did both spot lighting and illuminating the room I installed them in.

Lights very bright. Had to add a dimmer. No big deal
