Review: Good quality tiles and racks - This was a great starter set for mah-jongg. I especially like the plain wooden racks with magnetic pusher that came in the set. The color of the back of the tiles is also very pretty and looks accurate to what is seen online. The bags for the racks and tiles are high-quality but the outside larger bag that holds everything is on the thin side, I would prefer a thicker bag. The set came with everything I needed to set up and start playing four person mah-jongg.

This was a great starter set for mah-jongg. I especially like the plain wooden racks with magnetic pusher that came in the set. The color of the back of the tiles is also very pretty and looks accurate to what is seen online. The bags for the racks and tiles are high-quality but the outside larger bag that holds everything is on the thin side, I would prefer a thicker bag. The set came with everything I needed to set up and start playing four person mah-jongg.

This is just a gorgeous set! Bright colors, crisp graphics on the tile, scratch-resistant, and pretty (but subtle) pattern. The bag is a great size for storing or traveling, and everything fits super well! The lining/padding is thin but present, and the interior pocket is the perfect size for the large print mahjong cards. Overall I’m super pleased with this set, even though it was a little pricey…you do get your money’s worth! Just know that if you’re going to personalize it with HTV, the heat needed to apply the vinyl will probably melt the padding on the inside of the case a little — this didn’t bother me! I used my cricut to monogram the case and sleeves and loved the customization. The item itself got 5 stars. But what really prompted me to write this review was the stellar customer service I got from Yellow Mountain Imports! I unknowingly bought this set from a third party seller and had an issue, and I reached out to YMI thinking they were the seller. Even though they didn’t sell the item originally, they stood behind their product and addressed the issue, and I couldn’t be happier. I would absolutely recommend buying this set, but make sure you buy it from Yellow Mountain Imports directly as the seller…their customer service can’t be beat! I’ll absolutely be buying more sets and gifts!!
