Not sure what to say. It was easy to install. Not sure if I’ll keep it. The operating instructions are terrible and web support from company the same terrible users manual. After several hours of trial and error it is set up and recording. The play back options on the camera are totally unusable. That leads me to the AppThe cameras WiFi connects to the phone after much effort but from there the navigation in the App is impossible to use. The user manual is a joke for any help. What You Tube Videos that I can find only deal with installation in the car. I can’t find any that deal with using the App. The user manual shows an application menu but I’ve found no way to get to this screen. If I am ever able to get to this screen menu I might find it usable But if not it’s going back. I’m very disappointed at this point.

Front & back

Been using nextbase cameras for years. They are good quality, but have a lot of technical issues including turning off while driving, shows recording, but the timer stops which means it stopped recording and is frozen and has to be taken off and reset button.Reason for low stars is because of these issues and since I bought a replacement (this purchase) it no longer has the same connections and is a piece of plastic feeling. I literally had to uninstall the entire old setup to use this one. Not cool. Also, the rear camera on these will shut off recording from time to time. Definitely disappointed in next base and now looking for new company.In addition, next base offers it's 911 service if it detects you got in an accident. This feature even if you pay for it, only works within the UK regions.

Backup Camera did not work. The parking mode or ‘G Sensor’ also did not operate correctly. Was hoping for a good dash cam, as I own the Bluetooth version in another car. In the manual, it mentions app compatibility, although this model no app compatible, does NOT record incidents 10 sec prior and 10 seconds later. I used a V30 High Speed SD card (from NEXTBASE). I will be returning to purchase more expensive versions that offer Bluetooth. I’ve had goo experience with NEXTBASE in the past, although this model is complete garbage, and won’t protect your vehicle. It will only record AFTER the incident is done. Waste of money, but seller was good and was fast shipping.

This Nextbase Dash Cam has an automatic motion detector when you're parked which is great to help identify a person during a car theft. My neighbor had their car side swiped while parked and the first thing they asked was if our camera was able to see the culprit. The front and rear dashcam has a magnetic camera mount so it's super easy to install. The night vision is really clear and even compensates for car high beams and when you're in a rural area when hardly any light. Super easy to install and great dash cam.
