Works as advertised. The grater holds fast to the container while grating, and when you’re done just cap the container and store. Cleanup is easy if you clean from the inside where it’s smooth, using a sponge, or scrubber pad. For the outside I recommend using a bristle brush used in a circular motion. This is very effective at both grating, and slicing. It is very well made.

The grater is sharp and one can grate a mountain of block cheeses, or ginger and garlic, or multi plane some fresh nutmeg.
