Better than expected
I used it to boresight 2 scopes. I was expecting it to just get me on the paper. When I went to the range, it had me in the 9 ring. I sighted in 2 scopes and spent about 7 rounds on both.I am more than impressed with how close this got me.

Brighter Laser but Not as Stable as an In-Chamber Laser
Purchased this and a MidTen in-chamber laser to sight in a new Berreta 1301 shotgun (shooting slugs) with an Trijicon RMR HD optic. Ordered both with the brighter green laser which is bettern than red.I was unable to get this seated rock solid in the barrel even with removing the choke tube and experimenting with the various adapters. Thus, its accuracy was significantly affected by its rotational position in the barrel - mostly a fair distance off (6" at 50 yards) but in some cases not bad. In contrast, the in-chamber laser fit well and was stable and reasonably on target in various rotations. The fit issue with this barrel-end unit may be improved with smaller bores.I used both indoors for adjustments prior to shooting and then tested them after sighting in. This barrel end model was too bright indoors creating a large splash dot of 1" at 10 yards and expanding from there. However, The in-chamber unit was better indoors but was not visible outdoors even with heavy overcast whereas the barrel-end unit was visible out to 50 yards in heavy overcast and without the splash was a reasonably small dot.Overall, probably would have been better off staying with the factory RMR setting, starting at 20 yards at the range and, if necessary, using more ammo at $1.50/rnd than spending the money on these. I would start at 20 yards anyway (noting the effect of your sight or optic offset to the barrel centerline) as I'm not sure you can really trust either sufficiently to do otherwise.

Surprisingly good
I would recommend getting one with 16 inserts that don't include shotgun sizes. Also, look for one where comments mention a tiny laser dot. The dot on this particular model is usable, but disappointingly large.Still, overall, because I can spin it when installed without the dot moving, excellent.

So far, best I've used
Man, do I really like this little gadget, and the fact there's no batteries to change. I got in a day, charged it up, and stuck it in my 10/22 to sight in the new scope I put on it. Wow, I tried to get this thing to "off center", it didn't. Once in the barrel, normal one will make a little laser circle when you rotate it, this one didn't budge. Great value for the price, I'd buy another easy. I got this on sale so I took a chance, well worth it.

Accuracy of the presentation
I like green color laser because it is different from my red dot sight and, hence easier to recognize. The problem is that it works for a distance of 50 meters and no more. Second problem is that at 50 meters the dot was about 7 inches up on 11 o'clock of the actual hit. Of course, it is possible to adjust my scope and the red dot sight, but it would be more desirable to have this laser device to be more accurate.

Best one I've tried as of now
Some bad reviews made we wary but then you remember not everyone knows what they're doing.Used it for a 12Ga and 5.56. At 50 meters daylight incredibly visible. As far a folks saying it moves too much once in, hehe, tightening the barrel insert screw causes slight expansion giving the laser proper, secure fitment into the barrel. This'll easily get you on paper and then some.
