I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this briefcase/messenger bag. The look and feel of the leather is as good as you’d find,, at least in my opinion, and the small details such as the stitching are superb. I truly was not expecting this level of quality for this price but I will take it!

My complete review will be updated when I receive it.I shopped around Amazon for a while before deciding on this bag. When I recieved it, I was fairly happy. The color and texture of the leather was weird, but I know that I can only expect so much from a leather bag under $60.That being said, I've been using it for just over 3 weeks and it's already falling apart. The fabric lining arrived discolored from the adhesive used, and now it's separating. By week 2, there was some kind of salt "sweat" coming from the leather. The long strap's connection clips on the bag are not secure. Glue is oozing out in places.Save your money.

I was so surprised with the quality of this bag. It was so sturdy and soft leather. I find myself just admiring the bag as I have no real use yet. It reminds me of a briefcase that my Lawyer owned and carried all his legal documents for many years and I know his was very expensive. I can't say enough about this bag. I used Obenouauf 's Leather Oil which darkened and softened it. It looks rugged and very old.

It is a gift for my fiancée for his upcoming birthday. I examined the product it seems to be in good quality. Once he uses it for his studies, I will know how it really is. Looking at it, it seems it will stand up to the standards.

Not the color advertised. Oiled to darken. Worked somewhat, similar to oiling a baseball mitt. Not overly happy with color or construction as the seams are somewhat sloppy. I expect to condition, but not work to get it to the color I want. Would return, but already invested. Pictured after I oiled it.Edit: After doing a little research and going to Tandy leather for some dye, the bag came out nice. Not as pictured, but nice nonetheless

I like it but... Its stinks. It smells like strange dog food. I hope the smell fades out soon. I like uitt though. Bigger than I thought but thats on me.

This was a Birthday gift for my wife and she is super happy with it. She carries all her art supplies in it when we go out. Comfortable and convenient. Only down side and its a personal thing, her art board will not fit. Still its better than putting everything in a shopping bag to go anywhere.
