I'm very happy with the brightness
I have installed seven of the Sylvania 10W 7,200K recessed LEDs in my kitchen over the past 6 months. I'm very happy with the brightness, color tone and how well the lights work with the dimmers. I've tried a few different LED and CFL bulbs in my recessed fixtures and I was never quite happy with them. This Sylvania kit on the other hand is perfect and exactly what I was looking for.At their brightest they provide a comfortably bright light with a warm tone which is very similar to that of an typical incandescent bulb. I've also tried the 3,000K version which produces a whiter light but I prefer the warmer tones for my home. The lights are on two circuits using the Lutron MACL-153M-WH dimmers & companion dimmers. I can set the dimmer at the lowest setting and still get light out of these LEDs. Some LED bulbs I've used won't turn on at the lowest setting or turn off instead of dimming all the way. These work great at all settings.Unlike the traditional LED or CFL bulbs, this kit is designed to completely replace the light and the bezel on your recessed can lighting. Installation is a bit more involved but it provides a nice, clean, finished look which I prefer over a traditional bulb. The kit installs very easily and can be done in a few minutes. The Sylvania kit comes in two pieces: a socket with cable and harness and the LED assembly. The two pieces are connected together with a harness. The can fixtures I have are Halo 6 inch recessed fixtures. To install the LED I removed the bulb and old trim from my can fixtures. The trim on my fixture was held in place with springs. There is a wing nut in my fixture which is loosened to allow the socket mounting plate to be moved up or down. I moved the plate to the top position (Sylvania says to remove it), tightened the wing nut and installed the socket harness which is the screw in base connected to a cable/connector. I then hooked up the LED assembly to the wiring harness and let it dangle while I got a good grip on the spring mounts located on either side of the LED assembly. My can fixture has a slot on either side for the torsion springs to clip into place, this was tricky the first time but once I figured it out it was a breeze. Once they are clipped in, you just push the LED assembly into the can fixture and it pops into place. Here's more info about the fixture from Sylvania's website. You may want to check out the sections for compatible housings and dimmers before you purchase these to make sure these will work with what you already have. They also have a video and instructions.SYLVANIA ULTRA RT6 LED Recessed Downlight Kithttps://www.sylvania.com/en-us/products/featured-products/Pages/rt6.aspx

Good quality, Easy Install, Bright but cool light
I have the Sylvania 70734 in several rooms in my house and like them a lot. The master bath has a vaulted ceiling so I went with these 72369's so I could tilt them horizontally. That worked well. The only negative is that for some reason these feel a lot cooler light although they are supposed to be 3000k. A bit too white, the bath feels like an hospital room now... Also they don't dim very low.

Great Light but Needs Better Instructions
The light itself is great and is a pretty close match for the Sylvania 70644 (discontinued) - I had one 70644 go out just out of warranty and replaced it with this light. The light output appears identical in color and brightness to the remaining 70644's though the housing and wiring is slightly different. I opted for this 71707 over the 70734 based on its greater advertised life expectancy. Would give it 5 stars but the instruction sheet could be better. The installation issue I had was that the light would not seat into the can. Inspecting for why, I noticed that when my house was built the sheetrock was not properly cut around the can so that can is actually sitting on top of the sheetrock rather than coming through it. (Dealing with the mess of trimming sheetrock around the can, then tightening the nearby sheetrock screws and patching/repainting over that is a project for another day.) Another reviewer here suggested bending the retaining wires but I did not want to do that. Looking at the burned out 70644 and this 71707 side by side I noticed that the retaining wires can be adjusted slightly upward by unscrewing at the pivot and re-screwing to the next hole up. I did that on both sides of the light and now the light seats into the can, snuggly against the ceiling. Relocating the retaining wires was not covered in the instructions.

Beware: height limitation may prevent installation
My poor review is SOLELY based on the following factor that prevented my ability to use this LED trim: As noted by another reviewer, the height of this LED is too tall to fit into my recessed can. This is not my experience with other "simple" (non-eyeball) LED trims. This height problem is compounded when using the adapter for incandescent-to-LED. I would estimate that a minimum 6.5 to 7 inches of height within the recessed can is needed to accommodate this LED fixture under this circumstance (I had about 6"). Apart from that, I agree with other reviewers that the stepped-baffle appearance, the amount of light and the relatively warm light are all excellent for an LED trim.
