What are dimensions (height and diameter) of 5 and 9 oz size? Same photos are used for both sizes. I'm trying to decide which is best for my needs.

5 ounce is 2.75; High x 2.75" wide on top x 1.75 wide on bottom

How wide is the top opening?

I can tell you precisely that these tumblers were attractive, reasonably sturdy, and quite the "stylish" hit at the venue. I would say off hand, these tumblers were approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter. They were comfortable to hold and drink from, with the size-opening of the average cups of this type (sorry no measurements but I do recall the dimensions were included in the description). I was quite satisfied with the purchase........Happy Shopping!

What happens if the cups come broken? Do you get a refund?

If the company is going to stay in business for long, any good company will refund you if it arrives broken. However, they may not be responsible for it breaking. You may have to inquire of the delivery company and shipping and handling practices. Do not be surprised if one blames the other for it breaking.

are these good for wine at a cocktail party?

Hi Francine, Appreciate you taking the time to ask. Yes, these cups are BPA free from the manufacturer and designed to provide a stunning accent for any party or occasion. I've personally used them to hold both wine and mixed spirits. If you need any other help please be sure to ask! Thanks! -Gold Luster Goods
