Every bit as good as the 1st book
This book is Every bit as good as the 1st book. The pace of the story didn't let up, as fast paced as ever. And at every turn in the story it surprised me and made so so very glad I picked this book from my kindle recommendation to read! For all those who like magic, knights, dungeons and dragons. It has clean romance but mature handling of relationships and wonderful portrayal of camaderie and friendships.

The power of family, friends, and love
Without magic Fin finds strength to overcome evil. He loves a strong woman. But he humorously sets things right between everyone around him and drives his friends to distraction. At the same time they will keep him safe. His mother shows her own strength and love. Read this for an escape to a world the way we would like it to be with some tough love thrown in and a side of romance and humor.

good story, love despite class disparity
I love how Fin can make friends and change so many lives in the castle. The house witch really makes it his home.I live how Kraken and princs Eric bring light to the story with their joy.Great story!Of course the live developing between Lady Annika and witch Finlay Ashowan is conserning but we get the feeling that with Fin’s luck everything will go well.
