However the contents, though small in number is of an excellent quality:18 cards1 reference card4 tokens1 Score pad1 pencil (rubber included)2 resealable baggies (no mention of this on box)And the rulesThis threw me so much that I couldn't focus on the rules properly, however I prevailed and managed to play a few games.This is a great game and I love how simple it is to play!The scoring reminded me a little bit of the way how Yahtzee works except no dice.There's a bit of depth and there's a nice strategy element which develops over time.It's relatively quick to play as it consists of 3 rounds, or rather ages.You develop your own setup as each round passes, you start with 5 cards, in play, during round 1 and by round 3 it's 7, of which 2 are relics (this is where the tokens help). Relics are like a legacy of the previous age.The points each round are calculated based on what each card offers, and its effects, and lastly the winner is whoever has the most points in the end.I believe this is a great game, although it's 2 players only, it is definitely good to play with a friend or partner and actually is a sneaky way of doing a little maths with a child (or the children doing maths).Games initially will be probably 30 minutes or more but after a few regular games it will reduce, around 20 minutes or less. I believe you end up spending more time doing point totalling, this is because the wording can be confusing if you aren't careful.All in all as I said I really like this game. The theme is light but makes sense based on what we see and how it plays, making it not too heavy for those who just want to play.This is definitely a good 2 player and will keep me playing a few times a go, this is a great investment for your 2 player games collection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best 2 player board game I have played *by N***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 July 2019* What I liked:Easy to learn, but endlessly complex. Two good gamers can have really in depth strategic games with this, but it is also really easy to pick up and play at a lighter level.The artwork is really great.
